This research includes synthesis of new 5-Nitro isatin derivatives starting from 5-nitro-3-(imino acetohydrazide)-2-oxo indole (1) namely 5-nitro-3-[iminoaceto(tetra hydropyridazin-3,6-dione)-2-yl]-2-oxo indole (2); 5-nitro-3-[iminoaceto(hexahydrodiazepine-3,7-dione)-2-yl]-2-oxo indole (3); 5-nitro-3-[iminoaceto (1,2-dihydro pyridiazin-3,6-dione)-2-yl]-2-oxo indole (4); 5-nitro-3-[iminoaceto (8-nitro- 1,2-dihydrophtalazin-3,10-dione)-2-yl]-2-oxo indole (5) and 5-nitro-3-[iminoaceto (1,2-dihydrophtalazin-3,10-dione)-2-yl]-2-oxo indole (6). As Alkaloids known for their pharmaceutical importance; this research included the extraction of crude alkaloids of three plants (Zingiber officinale Roscoe., Thymus vulgaris L. and Acacia arabica L.) and evaluate their activity as coagulant agent by using three degraded concentrations of each plant extract and tested them on lab mice through the observation of the variations in bleeding time (BT), clotting time (CT) and platelet count. A new Turbidimetric method characterized by simplicity, accuracy and speed for determination of iron(III) in drug samples by continuous flow injection analysis. The method was based on the formation of complex for iron(III) with 8-hydroxyquinoline in presence of ammonium acetate as a medium for the formation of deep green precipitate and this precipitate was determined using homemade Linear Array Ayah-5SX1-T-1D continuous flow injection analyser. The optimum parameters were 2.6 mL.min-1 flow rate using H2O as a carrier, 1.9 mL.min-1 (14 mmol.L-1) ammonium acetate, 2.4 mL.min-1 (14 mmol.L-1) 8-hydroxyquinoline, 60 L sample volume and open valve for the purge of the sample segment.
