Background: The outlook for patients with stomach cancer is generally poor, with gastric cancer being the second most common cause of cancer death. Although advances in diagnosis and treatment have led to a drastic decrease in the incidence of gastric cancer in developed countries in the past few decades. Aim: Our current study aims to evaluate the clinical and pathological outcomes associated with the effect of H. pylori on gastritis (gastric cancer) patients. Methods: To evaluate the association between gastritis (gastric cancer) and H. pylori, demographic and diagnostic parameters of 103 patients were recorded during the follow-up period, which ranged from October 2023 to October 2024, In several hospitals in Iraq. Our study detected the degree and severity of H. pylori by polymerase chain reaction. The quality of life of patients was assessed by a general health assessment (SF - 36) questionnaire, and a curve was made to show the survival rate of patients during the follow-up period. Results: Our outcomes found patients with ages above 45 years were the most group participated, with 42.72%, males with 62 cases and females with 41 cases, obesity with 42.72%, smokers with 36.89%, and alcohol consumption with 12.62%. According of gastric cancer, the upper tumor got 40.78%, tumor size had 6.12 ± 1.42, lymph node metastasis of N1 was 32.04%, N3 was 11.65%, and N2 was 18.45%. Clinical of tumor signs were CEA ?6 ?g/L include 86.41%. Conclusion: Based on our outcomes, gastric cancer remains a large global health problem because H. pylori implicates it as a major risk factor for it
The aim of the research is to identify learning difficulties and their role in children's perception of self-concept. The researcher adopted the descriptive and analytical approach method in this study. A questionnaire was designed by the researcher to collect some related information such as biodata, family, health, diagnostic and behavioral patterns of the case. In addition, the researcher adopted the scale of learning difficulties for elementary school students prepared by Zaidan Ahmed Al-Sartawi (1995), the scale of student appreciation for the survey of learning difficulties for primary school students by Michael Best, which was translated to the Arabic language by (Saeed Abdullah Debis). The researcher adopted also the Self-Concept

The cytokine, tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) has been implicated in protection against TB in the early stages of the disease. TNF-α is an effective cytokine in the killing of intracellular M. tuberculosis. This study inducted to investigate whether there is any relationship between levels of TNF-α in sera of TB patients and their recovery, and is there any difference in the level of this cytokine in sera of female and male TB patients. This study included 29 patients with pulmonary TB (18 female and 11 male), their ages ranging from 37 to 59 years. All of them received first line TB therapy. They were consulted at Pasture Center during Septem

Since uric acid is thought to be risk factor for cardiovascular disease and considered a major antioxidant in human blood .The level of uric acid and lipid peroxidation in the sera of patients with unstable angina and myocardial infarction were measured and compared to the healthy individuals. Twenty-nine patients with unstable angina and twenty-nine patients with myocardial infarction were studied and compared to twenty-five healthy individuals. Uric acid was measured by using Human Kit. Malondialdelyde (MDA) a lipid peroxidation marker, was measured by thiobarbituric acid method .Significant elevation of uric acid and MDA were observed in the sera of pati

The researchers used a descriptive approach, which is best suited to the research problem. The study sample consisted of 12 players from the University of Baghdad volleyball team. Ten players were selected purposively, and two were excluded from the research sample for use in a pilot study, as well as players who participate in volleyball at sports clubs. The sample size represented 83% of the original population. The researchers used the Psychological Frequency Scale developed by Firas Abdul Hussein (1999) for sports-related applications, which consists of 51 positive and negative items. Matrix metalloproteinases- 9 (MMP-9) plays several important physiological functions. This enzyme could also be implicated in the "cytokine storm" in some way, which may represent one of the possible scianrios during coronavirus infection, in addition to its role in the mechanism of lung fibrosis on molecular basis.. The tissue inhibitors of metalloproteinase (TIMPs) are well characterized for controlling the activity of MMPs in extracellular matrix remodeling. They also considered as signaling molecules anal

The distance between beta source and second shield is constant (D=1) cm. This dose rate was found by program called Rad Pro Calculator (version 3.26). The results of dose rate of beta particles were plotted as a function to the atomic number (Z) for first shield materials for each
