...Show More Authors

The aim of this study is to synthesize an easy, non-toxic and eco-friendly method. Silver nanoparticles which were synthesized by leaf extract of mint were characterized by UV-Visible Spectroscopy which appears UVVisible spectrum of demonstrated a peak 448 nm corresponding to surface Plasmon resonance of silver nanoparticles, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR); functional groups involved in the silver nanoparticles synthesis were identified, the presence of silver nanoparticles was confirmed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) analysis clearly illustrated that the shape of silver nanoparticles was spherical and the size of the silver nanoparticles has been measured as 55- 85 nm. Evaluation of its antimicrobial activity, the resulted showed that efficiency inhibitory activity against bacteria and fungi, silver nanoparticle showed a greater effect on Staphylococcus aureus at a concentration of 150 μg/ml which reached in diameter of the inhibition zone 18.5 mm. whereas in fungi, Candida utilisat a concentration of 150 μg/ml, which reached in diameter of the inhibition zone 18mm.

Synthesis and characterization of some substituted heterocyclic compounds and evaluation of biological activity
...Show More Authors

This work includes preparing of some new derivatives of 1,2,4-Triazoles and oxazoles from the reaction between 3,5-dimethyl phenol and chloroethyl acetate in the presence of potassium carbonate and dry acetone to obtain the ester ethyl 3,5- dimethyl phenoxy acetate , then converted this ester to Thiosemicarbazone and Semicarbazone. Then ,the Triazoles were prepared from the cyclization of these Thiosemcarbazones and Semicarbazones in alkaline media( potassium hydroxide solution) . The prepared compounds were characterized by spectral methods FT-IR ,1H-NMR and measurement of some of its physical properties and evaluation of the biological activity for some of them.

Evaluation of Hemolysis Activity of Zerumbone on RBCs and Brine Shrimp Toxicity
...Show More Authors

Zerumbone is a well-known compound having anti-cancer, anti-ulcer, anti-inflammatory and anti-hyperglycemic effects. During its use for the disease treatment, the membrane of erythrocyte can be affected by consumption of this bioactive compound. The current study was the first report of investigation of the hemolytic activities on human erythrocytes and cytotoxic profile of zerumbone. The toxicity of zerumbone on human erythrocytes was determined by in vitro hemolytic assay. Brine shrimp lethality assay was used to evaluate the cytotoxic effect of zerumbone at concentrations 10, 100 and 1000 μg/mL. The human erythrocyte test showed no significant toxicity at low concentrations, whereas hemolytic effect was amplified up to 17.5

Scolicidal Activity of Zirconium Oxide (ZrO2) nanoparticles Against Protoscolices of Hydatid Cysts
...Show More Authors

Hydatidosis is a sickness that affects human and farm animals. This disease is deemed as a public health problem in different regions of the world until nowadays. Surgical overlaps is the best way to treat the disease, while the risk of surgery lies in the possibility of cyst rupture and leakage of protoscolices and the recurrence of infection again, this prompted researchers to use scolicidal agents before surgery such as ethanol, plant extracts, to reduce parasite spread and recurrence of infection, recently researchers have been using nanoparticles as a scolicidal agent, like gold nanoparticles, silver nanoparticles, selenium nanoparticles, and others. This research aims to evaluate the fatal effect of zirconium oxide (ZrO2) nano

Silver-functionalized PVA for flexible electronics: Enhanced optical, mechanical, thermal, and electrical performance with integrated antibacterial activity

Abstract
Nanocomposite films of silver-polyvinyl alcohol (Ag/PVA) with varying silver nanoparticle concentrations (1-5 wt%) were synthesized via a solution casting technique. The films were characterized by understanding the influence of Ag content on their structural, optical, mechanical, and electrical properties. UV-Vis spectroscopy (300-800 nm) revealed a red shift in absorption peaks and a significant decrease in the optical band gap from 5.39 eV to 1.06 eV with increasing Ag concentration, indicating the formation of additional energy states within the PVA matrix. FTIR and SEM analyses confirmed the successful incorporation of nanoparticles and revealed changes in surface functionalities and morpholog
... Show More

Synthesis, Characterization of Formazan Derivatives from Isoniazid and Study Their Antioxidant Activity and Molecular Docking
...Show More Authors

Objective: Synthesis, Characterization of formazan derivatives and studies the antioxidant activity of prepared compounds and molecular docking. Methods: In this study, formazan compounds (III–XIV) were produced by combining Schiff base compounds (I), (II) with diazonium salts resulting from reactions of different aromatic amines with sodium nitrate in the presence of Con.HCl at 0–5°C. When isonicotinic acid hydrazide reacts with (N,N-dimethylbenzaldehyde, 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde) in the presence glacial acetic acid as a solvent Schiff base compounds are created. Results: The prepared compounds were identified by FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, then the antioxidant activity of the derivatives and molecular docking were studied. D
