Transition metal complexes of Co(II) and Ni(II) with azo dye 3,5-dimethyl-2-(4-nitrophenylazo)-phenol derived from 4-nitoaniline and3,5-dimethylphenol were synthesized. Characterization of these compounds has been done on the basis of elemental analysis,electronic data, FT-IR,UV-Vis and 1 HNMR, as well as magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurements. The nature of thecomplexes formed were studies following the mole ratio and continuous variation methods, Beer ' s law obeyed over a concentrationrange (1x10 -4 - 3x10 -4 M). High molar absorbtivity of the complex solutions were observed. From the analytical data, thestoichiomerty of the complexes has been found to be 1:2 (Metal:ligand). On the basis of physicochemical data tetrahedral geometrieswere assigned for the complexes. The inhibitory effect of prepared compounds was used to study the type of inhibition. The resultsfrom line weaver- Burk plot indicated that the inhibitor type was non competitive with a range (31.76-83-21%).

A.R. Ammons's Garbage is a unique poem in all measures, starting from the title to the subject matter of the poem. Though it discusses the ecological repercussion of waste management, the long poem is written to shed light on the correlation between language\poetry and garbage. The paper argues that in his examination of language\poetry and garbage as both reflectors of human life and experience, Ammons claims that redemption is possible through both language and garbage by scrutinizing human experience whether low or high, mundane or sacred. The values of fmgerprint angles were studied in 57 females and 44 males from Najaf province in the m iddle of Iraq. Some results of tlus sample were compared with the results of Southern provinces sample from Iraq i population.
The rCS\tlts revealed that the mean of maximum fingerprint angle (MFA) and also the mean of absolute fingerprint angle (AFA) between samples in the studied provinces did nnt differ significantly. However, the unilateral analysis revealed only one significant diOerence in LS of the male samples (r-2.89, P<O.Ol), while the bilateral analysis revealed two significant differences, wluch occurred in Rl and R3 of the right hand.
