This paper addresses the substrate temperature effect on the structure, morphological and optical properties of copper oxide (CuO) thin films deposited by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) method on sapphire substrate of 150nm thickness. The films deposited at two different substrate temperatures (473 and 673)K. To do this, the researcher adopted Rokeach’s scale of dogmatism, which was modified to be more appropriate of the Iraqi context. Sampled for the study were 44 female non-sporting students: 20 students from Pedagogical University in Bagdad; and 24 students from Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport, Youth and Tourism in Moscow.
