This paper deals with the nonlinear large-angle bending dynamic analysis of curved beams which investigated by modeling wave’s transmission along curved members. The approach depends on the wave propagation in one-dimensional structural element using the method of characteristics. The method of characteristics (MOC) is found to be a suitable method for idealizing the wave propagation inside structural systems. Timoshenko’s beam theory, which includes transverse shear deformation and rotary inertia effects, is adopted in the analysis. Only geometrical non-linearity is considered in this study and the material is assumed to be linearly elastic. Different boundary conditions and loading cases are examined.

The goal of this study is to perceive the immunological sex-differences in puberty age who have positive anti-Toxoplasma Immunoglobulin-G (IgG) specific antibodies. From the first of November 2012 till the end of April 2013, 303 blood samples were collected from students in both genders (150 males and 153 females) were divided into two age groups: group (A) which included subjects with age range (12-15) years old and group (B) which included subjects with age range (16-19) years old. Serum samples were tested for toxoplasmosis infections by using Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) for anti-Toxoplasma IgG antibodies test. This study was designed to show the inhibitory effect of different concentrations of alcoholic extract of Borage officinalis on the Monoamine oxidase (MAO) and Acetylcholinesterase (AChE) enzymes in human serum. The results obtained from the study exhibited that alcoholic extract of Borage officinalis caused inhibition to enzymes activity with all concentrations of the extract. The results also showed that when the concentration of the extract was (0.001 mg/ml), the percentage of inhibition was (4.3% with MAO and 15.2% with AChE) and this percentage increases until reaching up to (74.7% with MAO and 84.18% with AChE) when the concentration of the extract was (0.1 mg/ml).
