This study included 46 patients with liver hydatid cyst diagnosed clinically and surgically. Control group consist of 22 healthy volunteers. The patients were divided according to the size of the cysts into more and less than 5 cm diameter size, 33 and 13, respectively. Also they were divided into primary and secondary hydatid cyst infection, 30 and 16, respectively. Pollutants generation is strongly dependant on the firing temperature and reaction rates of the gaseous reactants in the gas turbine combustion chamber. An experimental study is conducted on a two-shaft T200D micro-gas turbine engine in order to evaluate the impact of injecting ethanol directly into the compressor inlet air on the exhaust emissions. The study is carried out in constant speed and constant load engine tests. Generally, the results showed that when ethanol was added in a concentration of 20% by volume of fuel flow; NO_x emission was reduced by the half, while CO and UHC emissions were almost doubled with respect to their levels when burning conventional LPG fuel alone.

Background: The evaluation and staging of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) has dramatically changed with the introduction of cross-sectional imaging. Nowadays, small renal lesions are easily detected by computed tomography (CT) examination while missed by other modalities.

Objective: To determine whether ultrasound (US) or CT scan is the optimum imaging modality for the evaluation of the renal masses.

Patients and methods: This is a comparative study in which 30 patients with hematuria were attending the urological consulting clinic in Ghazzi Al-Harriry hospital, Baghdad, Iraq from May 2016 to July 2017 were subjected to abdominal US and CT scan.

Unfortunately, the assessment and management of minor ailments by Iraqi pharmacists were inappropriate.
