This study aimed to detect the present levels and distribution of air pollutants such as SPM, Pb, Cr, Cd , and Ni , in two urban sites within Al- Rusafa side in Baghdad city (Al-Waziriya as industrial site and Al-Andalus square as commercial site). Measurements were carried out from November 2013 until June 2014. SPM, Pb, Cr, Cd , and Ni were measured using Air intake device(Sniffer) . The average minimum concentrations of SPM, Pb, Cr, Cd , and Ni were 588 μg/m3, 2.8 μg/m3, 15.6 μg/m3, 0.1 μg/m3, and 6.3 μg/m3. While the average maximum concentrations were 723 μg/m3 , 3.4 μg/m3 , 21.7 μg/m3 , 0.125 μg/m3 , and 6.8 μg/m3 , respectively. An attempt was made to determine the insect parasites of cockroaches in Iraq. As a result of this survey three species of Hymenoptera representing two separate families, which have been reared from ootheca of cockroaches were recovered. These were: Evania dimidiata Fabricius, Evania appendigaster (Linnaeus) (Evaniidae) and Anastatus longicornis sp. n. (Eupelmidae) which described here as a new species from Iraq.

characterized by impairment in social interactions and communication deficits. A
potential role for immune dysfunction has been suggested in ASD. To test this
hypothesis, certain cytokines: IL-2, IL-10, IL-12, IL-17A and IFN-γ were

This research was conducted to evaluate serum immunoglobulin levels in women with ovarian cancer and to assess their role in disease process. Four species of insects, Carpophillus obsoletus Er., Carpophilus sp., Bitoma lycnformis Wall and Scatopse sp., were found in association with infected spathes of date palm with Mauginella scaettae Cav. The later fungus was the dominant species isolated in pure cultures both from diseased spathes and from contaminated insects. Bitoma lycriformis is the first record for Iraq.
