The study aims to identify the acceptability of drinking water for human consumption depend on Iraqi specification and WHO standards. Samples collected monthly for each station from March to December2014. The samples collected from six stations distributed in Baghdad City, the first two stations located in al-Kadmyai area , the 3rd and 4th located in AL- Doora while the last two stations located in Al-Amryai area. The study measured physical, chemical and bacteriological factors. The concentrations of naturally radioactive made occurring and technically enhanced radioisotopes of fly ash samples, collected from Al-Dura thermal power Plant- south of Baghdad, have been investigated using the NaI(Tl) gamma-ray spectroscopy. The average Activity concentrations of the radio elements 238 U, 232Th and 40K in Fly ash samples are measured accurately and found to be 33.860, 32.6 and 644.64Bq/kg respectively. This study concluded detection of Toxoplasma gondii in milk, immunologically by using Elisa and nested PCR)nPCR (based on B1 gene, also to investigate the effect of toxoplasmosis, parity, breed and flock on some milk composition in the Iraqi local and Shami goats in the middle of Iraq. A total of 80 milk samples of the lactating goats were collected. Results of this study showed the prevalence of Toxoplasmosis was 21.25% and 28.75% by Elisa and nPCR respectively without significant differences.
