Objective: To determine the quality assurance for maternal and child health care services in Baghdad City.
Methodology: A descriptive study is conducted throughout the period of November 28th 2008 to October 10th
2009. A simple random sample of (349) is selected through the use of probability sampling approach. The study
sample was divided into four groups which include (220) consumers, (35) medical staff, (72) nursing staff and (22)
organization structure (primary health care centers). Data were collected through the use of assessment tools. It was
comprised of four questionnaires and overall items included in these questionnaires are (116) items. The study
included assessment of organization structure. Data were collected through the utilization of constructed
questionnaire and the interview technique as a mean of data collection. Data analysis was performed through the use
of descriptive statistical data analysis approach graphical presentation by bar-chart, frequencies, percentages and
mean of scores and inferential statistical data analysis approach which is presented as chi-square procedure.
Result: The findings and conclusion of the study indicate that there is overload of target population on primary
health care centers, poor designed building, statistical program and data reporting system was poor, decrease core
financial support and inadequacy of funding for primary health care centers, there is increased demand and
decreased supply of primary health care workforce and poor health education for consumers in primary health- care
centers.
This study deals with the measurement of the specific activity radiation for beryllium -7 isotope in Baghdad city for samples of surface soils, by using gamma ray spectrometer technique. Twenty one samples were collected from surface soil of Baghdad city from Risafa and Karkh sides, (7) samples from Risafa side and(14) samples from Karkh side, where the axis for locations which are fixed by using (G.P.S.) . The study aimed: To assess the level of trainers' knowledge about the application of strategies and to find out the relationship between Trainer's knowledge and their socio-demographic characteristics.
Methodology: Using the pre-experimental design of the current study, for one group of 47 trainers working at the private Autism Centers in Baghdad, data was collected from 8/January / 2022 to 13 /February /2022. Using non-probability samples (convenient samples), self-management technology in which trainers fill out the questionnaire form themselves was used in the data collection process; it was analyzed through descriptive and inference statistics.

Background:
The present study conducted to study epipelic algae in the Tigris River within Baghdad city for one year from September 2011 to August 2012 due to the importance role of benthic algae in lotic ecosystems. Five sites have been chosen along the river. A total of 154 species of epipelic algae was recorded belongs to 45 genera, where Bacillariophyceae (Diatoms) was the dominant groups followed by Cyanophyceae and Chlorophyceae. The current study aims to determine the prevalence of Trichomonas vaginalis and Candida spp., and also to identify Candida parapsilosis and some virulence genes. It was conducted in Bint Al-Hoda Hospital of Maternity and Children in Thi-Qar province, south of Iraq for the period from the beginning of January to the end of December 2020.
