Methodology: The present study composed of (50) thalssemic patient who are registered in center and was
performed in Ibn Al-Atheer center for congenital anemia for the period from 15/12/2006 to 1/4/2007.
Results: The result of the study showed highly significant difference at (160.05) for knowledge of thalassemic
patients and also appear highly significant difference at (P<O.O5) for practice of thalassemic patients.

The current study aimed to investigate the effect of clopidogrel on the oxidative stress in CAD patients. This study was aimed to investigate the role of Newcastle disease virus (NDV) Iraqi strain AD2141 in apoptosis. Firstly, the virulence of AD2141 was detected in embryonated chicken eggs after 48hrs of infection. It was observed a hemorrhage in the skin of infected embryos that led to death. Then, the ability of this strain for regression cancer cell lines was examined. An evaluation for the performance of model pile embedded in expansive soil was investigated. An extensive testing program was planned to achieve the purpose of this research. Therefore, special manufactured system was prepared for studying the behavior of model pile having different length to diameter ratios (L/D). Two types of piles were used in this research, straight shaft and under reamed piles. The effect of model pile type, L/D ratio and number of wetting drying cycles were studied.
