Effectiveness of Instruction Program on Teachers’ Performance of Counseling for Primary School Pupils regarding Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder
...Show More Authors

Objective(s): To evaluate teachers’ performance of counseling for pupils with Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder, to identify the relationship between Teachers’ Performance of Counselling for Pupils with Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder and their demographic.

Methodology: A quasi-experimental (pre-posttest) design was carried out to evaluate teachers’ performance of counseling for pupils with Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder, at Al-Firdous mixed primary School and to find out the association between teachers' performance about Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder and their socio-demographic characteristic. The study was started from 18th September 2022 to 24th November 2022. The sample was non-probability (purposive sample) sample of (60) teachers were selected according to the study that are working in The First Rusafa Education Directorate. The data were collected by direct interview using specific questionnaire that’s composed of two parts (10) items which are: Part (1) Socio-demographic characteristics which included (4) items. Part (2) which deals with teachers' performance about Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder and includes (6) items. Data were analyzed by using (SPSS) package version (25). Descriptive data through determination of: Frequency, percentage, mean of score and standard deviation. Inferential statistical data analysis approach: used by enforcement of the T-test and ANOVA used for determining the association between Socio-demographic characteristics and teachers' performance.

Results: (66.7%) of them were (40 and more) years old, teachers more than half evaluation of teachers' performance is moderate, more than half level of performance is moderate about Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder, and present high significant relationship between teachers' performance and (age, years of employs).

Conclusions: The study find results revealed significant positive effects of the instruction program regarding teachers’ performance of counseling regarding pupils with Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder. Some demographic variables as ages and years of employs, had a significant Positive correlation with post assessment teachers’ performance.

Recommendations:  The study recommend that need to improve teachers' performance through lecture, courses and seminar about Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder among pupils, Serious attention bout Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder should be oriented toward teachers with respect to their age and years of employs differences.

On the Laser Micro Cutting: Experimentation and Mathematical Modeling based on RSM-CCD
...Show More Authors

The laser micro-cutting process is the most widely commonly applied machining process which can be applied to practically all metallic and non-metallic materials. While this had challenges in cutting quality criteria such as geometrical precision, surface quality and numerous others. This article investigates the laser micro-cutting of PEEK composite material using nano-fiber laser, due to their significant importunity and efficiency of laser in various manufacturing processes. Design of experiential tool based on Response Surface Methodology (RSM)-Central Composite Design (CCD) used to generate the statistical model. This method was employed to analysis the influence of parameters including laser speed,

Processed and red The Western diet, a modern dietary pattern, typically consists of meat, sugar-filled beverages, candies, chocolates, fried foods, prefabricated meals, refined cereals, conventionally produced animal products, high-fat dairy products, and high-fructose items. The goal of this review is to outline how the Western pattern diet affects gut microbiota and mitochondrial fitness, as well as metabolism, inflammation, and antioxidant status. Cancer, mental health, and cardiovascular health; We offer a thorough analysis of how the westernized diet and related nutrients affect immune cell responses as well as the hygienic costs of the Western diet. A consensus critical evaluation utilizing primary sources, including scientifi

The impact of infrastructure planning of complete street elements on the urban environment
...Show More Authors

In contemporary cities, the expansion of the use of vehicles has led to the deterioration of the urban environment. To counter this, many concepts and strategies emerged that attempted to regulate mobility in cities and limit its effects. The concept of a "complete street" is one of the modern trends concerned with diversifying means of transportation and reducing the disadvantages of mechanical transportation methods This paper discusses the role that complete streets can play in developing the urban environment in the Alyarmok District of Baghdad, which suffers from traffic congestion and its associated problems. In this study, 104 people were surveyed in the Alyarmok region, and the linear regression method was used to analyze their op

Shadow Detection and Elimination for Robot and Machine Vision Applications
...Show More Authors

Shadow removal is crucial for robot and machine vision as the accuracy of object detection is greatly influenced by the uncertainty and ambiguity of the visual scene. In this paper, we introduce a new algorithm for shadow detection and removal based on different shapes, orientations, and spatial extents of Gaussian equations. Here, the contrast information of the visual scene is utilized for shadow detection and removal through five consecutive processing stages. In the first stage, contrast filtering is performed to obtain the contrast information of the image. The second stage involves a normalization process that suppresses noise and generates a balanced intensity at a specific position compared to the neighboring intensit

Background: Limited data are available on the dimensional stability and surface roughness of ThermoSens, which is a material used in denture processing. This study aimed to measure the vertical teeth changes and surface roughness of ThermoSens dentures prepared using three different investment materials. Materials and methods: For the dimensional changes test, 30 complete maxillary dentures were prepared using different investment methods: group I, dental stone; group II, silicone putty; and group III, a mixture of dental stone and plaster (ratio, 1:1; n = 10 for each group). Four screws were attached to the dentures: two were attached to the buccal surface of the canine and first molar, and the other two were attached in the flange areas o
