The Evaluation of Nurses' Practices regarding Electronic Nursing Documentation
...Show More Authors

Objective: This study aims to evaluate nurses' practices regarding electronic nursing documentation

Methodology: 40 nurses have been chosen for a pre experimental sample using a non-probability (purposive) method between November 20, 2021, and March 1, 2023. The pretest and posttest comparisons included the same group that had been exposed to the software.

Results : table the nurses' practices toward electronic nursing documentation was described as poor and fair it means that nurses practices need to be improved and developed by an interventional program. there is no significant differences between age, gender and years of employment variables and nurses practices.

Conclusions: Between the pretest and posttest, there were notable variations in the interventional program's efficacy. Thus, the interventional program was successful.

Recommendations: An interventional programs and training courses should be provided for nurses to emphasize the practical implementation of the electronic nursing documentation

Keywords: interventional program, Electronic nursing documentation.

The main purpose of the paper is to identify the controllability of an existing production system; yogurt production line in Abu Ghraib Dairy Factory which has several machines of food processing and packing that has been studied. Through the starting of analysis, instability in production has been found in the factory. The analysis is built depending on experimental observation and data collection for different processing time of the machines, and statistical analysis has been conducted to model the production system. Arena Software is applied for simulating and analyzing the current state of the production system, and results are expanded to improve the system production and efficiency. Research method is applied to contribute in knowi

Preparation and evaluation of oral soft chewable jelly containing flurbiprofen
...Show More Authors

Oral jelly is a semisolid preparation that could resolve problem associated withdosage form’s swallowing, especially in pediatric and elderly ones. This work aimedto prepare oral flurbiprofen (FBP) jelly to improve patient compliance. Heating andcongealing method was used to prepare FBP jelly using three different polymers (pectin, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose). The effect ofdifferent concentrations of pectin and sucrose on jelly properties was studied. Theresults revealed that both pectin and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose polymers gaveacceptable jelly appearance and consistency. It was also observed that the increase ofpectin or sucrose concentration had a significant impact on jelly viscosity. All pe

Isolation and Immunopathological Evaluation of Chromobacterium violaceum from Diarrheic Chickens
...Show More Authors

Background Chromobacterium violaceum is a rare but potentially pathogenic bacterium that can infect humans and animals. Limited information is available about its occurrence in poultry. This study aimed to isolate and identify C. violaceum from diarrheic chickens and to evaluate its immunological impact in a mouse model. Methods Fifty chicken diarrhea fecal samples were cultured and typed by biochemical tests, Vitek 2 Compact System, and 16S rRNA gene PCR sequencing. Killed bacterial antigens were prepared and administered to mice to measure immune responses (IgG and IL-6 levels by ELI

Preparation and In-Vitro Evaluation of Clopidogrel Bisulfate Liquisolid Compact

Liquisolid compact is the most promising technique for increasing dissolution rate and bioavailability of poorly soluble drugs.Clopidogrel bisulfate is an oral antiplatelets used for treatment and prophylaxis of cardiovacular and peripheral vascular diseases related to platelets aggreagation.Clopidogrel has low solubility at high pH media of intestine and low bioavailability of a bout 50% after oral doses. The purpose of this work was to enhance dissolution pattern of clopidogrel through its formulation into liquisolid tablets.A mathematical model was used to calculate the optimum quantities of tween 80 , carrier (Avicel PH 102) and coating material (Aerosil 200) needed to prepare acceptably flowing and compactible powder mixtures. The liq

Evaluation of Certain Physiological Biomarkers in Iraqi Endometrial Carcinoma Patients

Background: Endometrial Cancer (EC) is the malignant tumor originating from endometrium cell (lining of the uterus). EC incidence and mortality have increased in recent years. Routinely used methods for EC diagnosis and treatment are histopathological tissue culture after surgery and postoperative radiotherapy, however there is still not enough efficient treatment for recurrence or progression of this disease. So, there is a critical need for further EC identification by new biological ways for the prognostic diagnosis of it. Objective: This study aimed to look for ways by which could help in diagnosis of EC before the hysterectomy. Materials and Methods: 55 patients with EC and 57 healthy women were involved in this study (up to 45 years)

Evaluation of breast mass excision by 810 nm diode laser
...Show More Authors

Breast mass is by far the most important clinical problem that concerns the breast today. This study was carried out to evaluate diode laser as a cutting tool in breast mass excision and as a hemostatic tool for coagulation during surgery. Using 810 nm diode laser with optical fiber 600μm in diameter of conical tip, udder (cow's breast) tissue, and three female patients (mean age of 35.5 y with clinically palpable breast mass) had been used in this study. The patients were followed up regularly postoperatively. In preliminary work on udder tissue, the power needed for cutting and excision was 15W (power density= 5.3 kW/cm2). The time consumed for excision of a piece of udder tissue, 40×10×3 mm in dimensions was 5 min. The depth range
