Evaluation of Women's knowledge about Family Planning Methods at Omer Sawi Teaching Hospital
...Show More Authors

Objectives:This study aimed to identify women perception and experience regarding family planning(FP) methods

Methodology:Descriptive cross-sectional hospital based study, was conducted at Omer Sawi teaching hospital, from august to September 2019.Sample of 320 women, were selected randomly after their agreement.Data were collected through interview questionnaire and analyzed using a statistical package for social sciences (SPSS)and descriptive and inferential statistical methods were used. With accepted P.< 0.05.for the correlation significant.

Results:Age group between 21-25 years represent (53.1%),most common education levels were secondary school 56%.Majority of women had 2-5 children.Half of the women born their children with space of less that one year.Perception of women about FP was (58.5%).Although 224(70%) had past experience of FP used, however over one third  80 (35.7%)stopped it because of different reasons, mainly the side effect.Currently, 45% of the participant used FP,mainly hormonal methods 204(63.74%).Significant correlation between perception of women about FP and their educational level(Correlation coefficient 0.768. P = 0.000) was found.

Conclusion:Women perception and experience of FP was inadequate and women focused on hormonal methods use.Significant correlation between perception of women about FP and their educational level was found .

Recommendations:Empowerment of women concerning family planning should be intensified to insure its sustainability over the time.

Theoretical Estimation of Electronic Flow Rate at Al-TiO2 Interfaces System
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>The mechanism of the electronic flow rate at Al-TiO2 interfaces system has been studied using the postulate of electronic quantum theory. The different structural of two materials lead to suggestion the continuum energy level for Al metal and TiO2 semiconductor. The electronic flow rate at the Al-TiO2 complex has affected by transition energy, coupling strength and contact at the interface of two materials. The flow charge rate at Al-TiO2 is increased by increasing coupling strength and decreasing transition energy.</p>

Thermophysical Study of Ethylene Glycol + H2O and Ethylene Glycol + (DMF/H2O) at 298.15 K
...Show More Authors

In this research, some thermophysical properties of ethylene glycol with water (H2O) and two solvent mixtures dimethylformamide/ water (DMF + H2O) were studied. The densities (ρ) and viscosities (η) of ethylene glycol in water and a mixed solvent dimethylformamide (DMF + H2O) were determined at 298.15 K, t and a range of concentrations from 0.1 to1.0 molar. The ρ and η values were subsequently used to calculate the thermodynamics of mixing including the apparent molar volume (ϕv), partial molar volume (ϕvo) at infinite dilution. The solute-solute interaction is presented by Sv results from the equation ∅_v=ϕ_v^o+S_v √m. The values of viscosity (B) coefficients and Falkenhagen coefficient(A) of the Jone-Dole equation and Gibbs fre

This study aims to know the extent of the impact of Strategic Leadership as an independent variable in Strategic Learning as a dependent variable to help the senior leadership in Anbar University to take the right decisions to develop Strategic Learning programs in light of the circumstances of the Covid-19 and the sudden decisions adopted by the university to switch to E-learning and to blend. The survey was conducted by distributing a questionnaire that was adopted as a primary tool in data collection from the study sample represented by the university's senior leaders, An intentional random sample of (105) was selected from our community of (127), the data were analyzed by (SPSS) Depe

THE PORTRAIT OF THE ARTIST AS A ROBOT: A LITERARY LOOK AT E-POETRY
...Show More Authors

This study examines the validity of e-poetry as an acceptable literary genre. The
thematic, stylistic and esthetic features of a selected number of e-poems produced by
poetry generators are analyzed for this purpose. The e-poems are then compared with a
number of works written by Dada poets in order to establish the literary merit of the
former.

The purpose of this study is to elucidate the microfacies and the biozones present in the studied rocks as well as to determine their environments or deposition. The study depends mainly on the benthonic foraminiferal assemblages identified from (27) rock thin sections made available from an outcrop at Wadi Banat Al-Hassan area in the Upper Euphrates Valley. X-Ray diffraction was also used to determine the type of carbonate minerals present in the studied rocks.

Two – Dimensional Mathematical Model to Study Erosion Problem of Tigris River Banks at Nu’maniyah
...Show More Authors

The high and low water levels in Tigris River threaten the banks of the river. The study area is located on the main stream of Tigris River at Nu’maniyah City and the length of the considered reach is 5.4 km, especially the region from 400 m upstream Nu’maniyah Bridge and downstream of the bridge up to 1250 mwhich increased the risk ofthe problemthat itheading towardsthe streetand causingdanger tonearbyareas.

The aim of this research is to identify the reason of slope collapse and find proper treatments for erosion problem in the river banks with the least cost. The modeling approach consisted of several steps, the first of which  is by using “mini” JET (Jet Erosion Test) d

Studies of mass transfer at a spiral-wound woven wire mesh rotating cylinder electrode
...Show More Authors

Mass transfer has been studied at rotating cylinder electrodes fabricated with spiral-wound woven-wire meshes using reduction of copper as a test reaction. The experimental data were correlated by an empirical expression between the Sherwood number and the Reynolds number, both regarding the hydraulic diameter as a characteristic length. It was found that the Sherwood number was dependent upon the Reynolds number to the power of 0.521. An enhancement factor was adopted to compare the efficiency of the new rotating cylinder electrode with previous three-dimensional rotating cylinder electrodes. The results showed that the new type has a mass-transfer enhancement factor 2.3 times higher than those obtained with smooth rotating cylinder electr
