Evaluation of Women's knowledge about Family Planning Methods at Omer Sawi Teaching Hospital

Objectives:This study aimed to identify women perception and experience regarding family planning(FP) methods

 Methodology:Descriptive cross-sectional hospital based study,was conducted at Omer Sawi teaching hospital,from august to September 2019.Sample of 320 women, were selected randomly after their agreement.Data were collected through interview questionnaire and analyzed using a statistical package for social sciences (SPSS)and descriptive and inferential statistical methods were used.With accepted P.< 0.05.for the correlation significant. 

Results:Age group between 21-25 years represent (53.1%),most common education levels were secondary school 56%.Majority of women had 2-5 children.Half of the women born their children with space of less that one year.Perception of women about FP was (58.5%).Although 224(70%) had past experience of FP used,however over one third  80 (35.7%)stopped it because of different reasons,mainly the side effect.Currently, 45% of the participant used FP,mainly hormonal methods 204(63.74%).Significant correlation between perception of women about FP and their educational level(Correlation coefficient 0.768. P = 0.000) was found.

Conclusion:Women perception and experience of FP was inadequate and women focused on hormonal methods use.Significant correlation between perception of women about FP and their educational level was found .

Recommendations:Empowerment of women concerning family planning should be intensified to insure its sustainability over the time.

Teaching techniques due to the Brain-based learning theory among math teachers

The purpose of the study is to identify the teaching techniques that mathematics' teachers use due to the Brain-based learning theory. The sample is composed of (90) teacher: (50) male, (40) female. The results have shown no significant differences between male and female responses' mean. Additionally, through the observation of author, he found a lack of using Brain-based learning techniques. Thus, the researcher recommend that it is necessary to involve teachers in remedial courses to enhance their ability to create a classroom that raise up brain-based learning skills.

Two Efficient Methods For Solving Non-linear Fourth-Order PDEs

This paper studies a novel technique based on the use of two effective methods like modified Laplace- variational method (MLVIM) and a new Variational method (MVIM)to solve PDEs with variable coefficients. The current modification for the (MLVIM) is based on coupling of the Variational method (VIM) and Laplace- method (LT). In our proposal there is no need to calculate Lagrange multiplier. We applied Laplace method to the problem .Furthermore, the nonlinear terms for this problem is solved using homotopy method (HPM).
