Objective :.
1-Find out the prevalence of alcohol and drugs addiction in two different years before and after the last
war i.e. in 2002 and in 200. 2-Study the association between the addiction
and some variables. 3-Identify the prescribed drugs and other substances that
have been abused
Methodology : A retrospective study has been conducted involving the in-patients at addiction unit-IbnRushd
psychiatric hospital in Baghdad by applying the semi-structured form based on ICD-10 criteria
of addiction and dependency with the confirmation of the specialist psychiatrist diagnosis of
dependency. Data concerning each patient admitted in the hospital was gathered to have an idea about
the problem of addiction (drugs and alcohol) during the year 2002 and the year 2004. The total number
of the patients was 286.
Results : The results showed that drug addiction was significantly increased more than alcohol, 73%
of admissions in 2002 were alcoholic while in 2004, 40.8% of in-patients were alcoholic.
In 2004, the drug addiction in patients was 58.2% and in 2002 was only 27%, which was statistically
significance.
All patients were males; young age, single, and unemployed. The most common drug was benzhexol
(artane) either alone or with other drugs or mixed with alcohol.
Recommendation
The aim of the research is to reveal the reality of teacher performance evaluation in the Sultanate of Oman in light of some global models. The study followed a qualitative descriptive research design. Seven forms of teacher formative and summative assessments were analyzed. Besides, an analytical template was developed, consisting of six areas related to the teaching performance of teachers. These included: lesson planning and preparation, learning environment, education, professional development, student academic, and community and parental partnership. Among Persian poets and literary works, Ferdowsi and Shahnameh have a distinctive and prominent place. Since the 5th C. AH , they took the interest of all Persian language and literature scholars and were one of the first books to be translated into different languages including Arabic by Al Fatih Bin Ali Bin Mohammed Al-Bandari in the year of (620)AH .Because it was completed in the early 7th C. The study was carried out to study the quality of 7 samples of imported frozen chicken that are available in locally markets. These samples were collected from Baghdad markets in June 2010. The results were showed that the all samples were not content the name of company and batch number one the labeling, while the microbial test refer to found contamination in all samples, but it in the limited of Iraqi standers specification for frozen chicken, also note Staphylococcus aureus in all samples, the samples C1 and C2 have Salmonella ohio, while not observe Coliform bacteria in all samples.
This current study was built on creating four electrodes based on molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs).
