Objectives: To determine the impact of the household hazardous waste’s aspects upon the environment
pollution .and to identify the relationship between the households’ demographic characteristics and the aspects
of household hazardous waste.
Methodology: A descriptive study is conducted between December 14th 2004 to October 20th 2005that uses of
an assessment tool. A probability (simple random sampling) of (336) principal’s households which is selected
from the zones around the (14) primary health care centers as focal points, (8) in the urban and (6) in the rural
areas of Baghdad Governorate. After reliability and validity were determined Data are collected through the use
of an assessment tool that is consisted of households’ demographic characteristics and factors that produce
household hazardous waste, awareness towards such waste, and management of this waste.
Data is performed through the use of descriptive statistical approach (frequencies and percentages) and
inferential statistics (stepwise multiple regression analysis).
Results: The findings reveal that the aspect of awareness towards household’s hazardous waste has a greater
impact upon the household hazardous waste than factors that produce this waste and management of such waste.
The study concludes that Low-educated, being in extended family and living with moderately oriented
socioeconomic status have influenced the households’ awareness towards their hazardous waste and
identification of factors that contribute to such waste and their management of this waste.
Recommendation: The study recommends that the Public Awareness Programs can be designed, constructed
and presented to increase their awareness towards identification of factors that produce such waste and its
management.
Background: This research identified Streptococci spp. depending on culture, biochemistry, the VITEK technique, ability to produce biofilms, and antibiotic resistance. Aim: The goal of this study was to perform microbiological procedures to evaluate the qualitative qualities of mozzarella cheese against infective Streptococci using microbiological care. Methods: Sixty (60) mozzarella cheese samples were brought from diverse markets in Baghdad from October 2023 to December 2023 at the Zoonoses Research Unit and Veterinary Public Health Department, Veterinary Medicine College, University of Baghdad. Culture of samples on agar (MacConkey and blood) and aerobically incubated at 37°C for 48 hours. Gram staining purified colonies to

In this paper we study some properties of fully stable Banach A-module and another characterization of fully pseudo stable Banach A-module has been given.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a prevalent metabolic disorder caused by impaired insulin secretion from pancreatic β-cells and insulin resistance in target tissues. Genome-wide association studies have identified over 50 genetic variants linked to T2DM, including polymorphisms associated with the disease. This study investigates the impact of the FADS1 (rs174547) polymorphism in T2DM patients compared to healthy controls and examines serum levels of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, as well as D5D and D6D enzyme levels and activity. This case–control study included 120 participants: 60 newly diagnosed T2DM patients and 60 apparently healthy controls matched for age, sex, and other sociodemographic factors. Polyunsaturated fatt

The Schiff base was synthesized through condensate of [4-antipyrincarboxaldehyde] with[2-amino-5-(2-hydroxy-phenyl-1,3,4- oxadiazol] in alcoholic medium . Two tetradentate Schiff base ligand were used for complexation upon two metal ions of Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+ and Zn2+ as dineucler formula M2L2.4H2O. The metal complexes were characterized by FTIR Spectroscopy, electronic Spectroscopy, elemental analysis, magnetic susceptidbility measurements, and also the ligand was characterized by 1H-NMR spectra, and m

Antimicrobial activity of new complexes are studied against Gram positive S. aureus and Gram negative E. coli, Proteus, Pseudomonas. The octahedral geometrical structures are proved depending on the outcomes from the preceding procedures. Keywords: pyrimidin-2-amine, acetyl isothiocyanate, complexes, Antimicrobial activity
Background: With the increasing demands for adult orthodontics, a growing need arises to bond attachments to porcelain surfaces. Optimal adhesion to porcelain surface should allow orthodontic treatment without bond failure but not jeopardize porcelain integrity after debonding. The present study was carried out to compare the shear bond strength of metal bracket bonded to porcelain surface prepared by two mechanical treatments and by using different etching systems (Hydrofluoric acid 9% and acidulated phosphate fluoride 1.23%). Materials and Methods: The samples were comprised of 60 models (28mm *15mm*28mm) of metal fused to porcelain (feldspathic porcelain). They were divided as the following: group I (control): the porcelain surface left u
