Abstract

The study aims to build a training program based on the Connectivism Theory to develop e-learning competencies for Islamic education teachers in the Governorate of Dhofar, as well as to identify its effectiveness. The study sample consisted of (30) Islamic education teachers to implement the training program, they were randomly selected. The study used the descriptive approach to determine the electronic competencies and build the training program, and the quasi-experimental approach to determine the effectiveness of the program. Ali AL-Gharbi area lies to the northeast of Missan Governorate, southeast of Iraq. The meteorological data recorded in Ali AL-Gharbi station for the period (1994-2014) were used to assess the climatic condition of the study area, it was found that the monthly mean of rainfall is (15.35 mm), relative humidity (43.95 %), the temperature (24.50 C◦), wind speed (4.35 m/sec) and the strongest and most frequent winds are the northwest, sunshine (8.54 h/day) and evaporation (305.73 mm).The results of the data analysis show that, the climate of study area is characterized by dry and relatively hot in summer, and cold with low rain in winter. This research concerns with the study of the sand dunes sedimentary structures in two areas from dunes field of Najaf governorate these are; 1)Al-Rahimiya and 2)Ain Mazlun areas, where the first area consists from barchans, barchanoid, and nabkha dunes types, while the second area has the dome, longitudinal, nabkha, and sand sheet dunes types.
