An adopted questionnaire has been selected for the study which consists of three parts. The first part is nurses’ socio-demographic characteristic; the second part is child’s socio-demographic characteristics; and the third part is the nursing care for neonates and children under 5 years. The content validity and the internal consistency reliability for the study instrument are determined through a pilot study. Data are collected through the use of structured interview. Data are analyzed using frequency, percent, mean of scores, mean, standard deviation, total scores and ranges and inferential statistical measures of t-test and one - way analysis of variance.

Results: Results showed the study that the assessment module and the communication module is inadequate for the most, while, the role of staff nurses in treatment module is adequate in Baquba Health Sector I. But, in Baquba Health Care Sector II the assessment module is inadequate, and the role of staff nurses in treatment module is adequate and equally adequate and inadequate for the communication module.

Recommendations: The study recommends that staff nurses need to be seriously involved in designed, planned and implemented training sessions on Integrated Management of Neonatal and Childhood Illness (IMNCI) program with emphasis on the assessment and communication modules. Monitoring and evaluation of the IMNCI program have to be done for the benefits of children in Baquba Health Care Sectors Keywords: Evaluation, Quality of Nursing Care, and Integrated Management of Child Health

Optimization and Prediction of Process Parameters in SPIF that Affecting on Surface Quality Using Simulated Annealing Algorithm
...Show More Authors

Incremental sheet metal forming is a modern technique of sheet metal forming in which a uniform sheet is locally deformed during the progressive action of a forming tool. The tool movement is governed by a CNC milling machine. The tool locally deforms by this way the sheet with pure deformation stretching. In SPIF process, the research is concentrate on the development of predict models for estimate the product quality. Using simulated annealing algorithm (SAA), Surface quality in SPIF has been modeled. In the development of this predictive model, spindle speed, feed rate and step depth have been considered as model parameters. Maximum peak height (Rz) and Arithmetic mean surface roughness (Ra) are used as response parameter to assess th

Cover Crop Effects on Soil Health in Organic High Tunnels (2019).
...Show More Authors

High tunnels, or unheated plastic greenhouses, are becoming increasingly popular among organic vegetable growers across the United States. However, the intensive production typical of these systems presents soil health challenges, including salinization due to high fertilizer or compost inputs coupled with lack of rainfall to leach salts. Legume cover crops may improve soil health in high tunnels by reducing the need for external inputs, while adding organic matter. We tested the soil health effects of a winter hairy vetch (Vicia villosa Roth) cover crop used to replace fertilizer N in an organic tomato cropping system in high tunnels. Studies were replicated across three sites differing in climate and soil type (Kansas, Kentucky, and Minne
