In this study the Entrance Surface Dose (ESD) received by pediatrics patients undergoing chest, abdomen and skull X-ray examinations was estimated. The study was conducted in two hospitals in Najaf city where three radiographic systems were considered. The study participants were classified into four age groups 0-1 ,  1-5 ,  5-10  and  10-15  years. In the present work, it had been measured the concentration of radon gas (C_Rn) for (10) samples of cement used in constructions before and after painting them using enamel paint, purchased from the local markets, to see the extent of its ability to reduce emissions of Rn-222 in the air. These samples were obtained from different sources available in the local markets in Baghdad and other provinces. The measurements were done by the American-made detector (RAD7). The results showed that the highest C_Rn in the air emitted from cement samples after coating was in the cement sample (Iranian origin) where the concentration was (58.27 Bq/m³) while the lowest C_Rn was found in building material samples

The aim of the study is to reveal the histologist structure of the tongue of the guinea pig(Cavia porcellus), where we took three samples of adult males, and crosses the tongue similar to rodents, except for some differences in terms of the epithelial layers, mucosa, the muscular layer, the number of tongue layers and the spread of papillae on the tongue, which is, differences due to adaptation to the habitat and their diet.

Of the first kind has been derived and then a simulation approach by Monte-Calro method was made to compare the Bayers estimator of reliability function and the maximum likelihood estimator for this function. It has been found that the Bayes. estimator was better than maximum likelihood estimator for all sample sizes using Integral mean square error(IMSE).
