Objective: The aim of this study is to determine the means and the difficulties faced by students of
nursing maternal and child health nursing / College of Nursing / University of Baghdad in obtaining scientific
information in practical training.
Methodology: A purposive sample of (100) Nursing college student - Maternal and Child Health Nursing
Department were selected. Data were collected through the use of the questionnaire form during the
period from the November 2010 to April 2011. Descriptive statistical procedures were used to analyze the

  The study revealed to the efficiency of some stick traps included standard Williams sticky trap with three modified forms of them, Ribbed cylindrical williams trap , pyramid williams trap and flat williams trap in catching of the house flies in a horsesØŒ stables. A checklist of the wild mammals of Syria including their current status and geographical distribution is provided. Data related to 110 mammalian species were collected following a comprehensive review of available literature records, grey data, and online observations combined with photographic evidence and in situ surveys carried out between 2006 and 2023. The checklist comprises seven orders, 36 families, 73 genera (subgenera), and 110 species, and includes data on 15 globally threatened species of wild mammals. Overall, we report up-to-date information on taxonomic revisions, historical and current geographical range, as well as the conservation status recently assessed by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)

The successive international changes in the economic, political, cultural and other fields resulted in many phenomena that occupied different levels of interest, and have been followed up, studied and analysed by specialists and researchers especially under the development of the media in the global communication.

    Literature reviews of reports concerning the parasitic fauna of fishes of Al-Diwaniyah province, Iraq till the end of December 2018 showed that a total of 43 parasite species are so far known from 13 valid fish species investigated for parasitic infections. The parasitic fauna included one euglenozoan, two myzozoans, six ciliophorans, three myxozoans, three trematodes, nine monogeneans, four cestodes, six nematodes, three acanthocephalans and six crustaceans.
