Objective: to evaluate body image and depression symptoms of children with precocious puberty, and find out association between children`s sociodemographic characteristics and their body image and depression signs. Methodology: A cross sectional study, sample of (80) child from both gender, > 7 years were included due to their ability to express their own feeling, diagnosed with precocious puberty, attending out-patient endocrine clinics at pediatric hospitals in Baghdad city. Data collected, during the period from May to November 2018. Consent form has taken from children and their guardians to participate in study. Child body image scale (CBIS) was used to evaluate children body satisfaction (1) and Mood and feeling questionnaire (M&FQ) to evaluate children degree of depression symptoms (2), the approved has taken from the ownership directly. SPSS version 23 was used to analyze data by applying descriptive analysis (percentages, frequencies and mean) as well as inferential analysis (T-test). Results: the finding shows that most children with precocious puberty experience body dissatisfaction, more than half of children experience depression signs, school achievement shows significant association with their depression signs. Recommendation: the study recommend to emphasis on psychosocial assessment during routine physical examination, in addition to provide psychological support for those children especially girls

The main goal of this paper is to present a deep study of the spatial density distribution method and the effect of a mass-based segmentation algorithm on its performance while it is being used to recognize handwritten signatures in an offline mode. The past years have seen a rapid development in the area of image compression techniques, mainly due to the need of fast and efficient techniques for storage and transmission of data among individuals. Compression is the process of representing the data in a compact form rather than in its original or incompact form. In this paper, integer implementation of Arithmetic Coding (AC) and Discreet Cosine Transform (DCT) were applied to colored images. The DCT was applied using the YCbCr color model. The transformed image was then quantized with the standard quantization tables for luminance and chrominance. Background: He-Ne laser (632.8 nm) pre-irradiation may lead to modulate the damaging effects of ionizing radiation and decreasing in radiation damage on cells, by the induction of antioxidant defence mechanisms and accelerated the repair.
Objective: To study the protection properties of He-Ne laser (632.8 nm) pre-irradiation against UV light (253.7 nm) damage on human lymphocyte blood cells and its DNA.
Subject & Methods: 27 samples were processed only for lymphocyte blood cells separation, while a 45 samples for the extracted DNA from lymphocyte. The total of 72 sampleswere employed to evaluate the influence of He-Ne laser pre- irradiation against UV-light.
