Abstract

This paper represents a study of the effect of the soil type, the drilling parameters and the drilling tool properties on the dynamic vibrational behavior of the drilling rig and its assessment in the drilling system. So first, an experimental drilling rig was designed and constructed to embrace the numerical work.

Objective: to assess the Nursing College students' health-protective behaviors (HPBs) and their
association with some sociodemograghic characteristics.
Methodology: A sample of 100 Students (males and females) was selected through a systematic
random sample that were at the third and fourth year of Nursing College in Baghdad University for the

     Detection moving car in front view is difficult operation because of the dynamic background due to the movement of moving car and the complex environment that surround the car, to solve that, this paper proposed new method based on linear equation to determine the region of interest by building more effective background model to deal with dynamic background scenes. This method exploited the permitted region between cars according to traffic law to determine the region (road) that in front the moving car which the moving cars move on. In the last years, the research of extraction the movable object from video sequence in application of computer vision become wide spread and well-known . in this paper the extraction of background model by using parallel computing is done by two steps : the first one using non-linear buffer to extraction frame from video sequence depending on the number of frame whether it is even or odd . the goal of this step is obtaining initial background when over half of training sequence contains foreground object . in the second step , The execution time of the traditional K-mean has been improved to obtain initial background through perform the k-mean by using parallel computing where the time has been minimized to 50% of the conventional time

The observation data for radio Jove telescope for the Sun and Jupiter radio storm observations data are loaded from NASA radio Jove telescope website, the data of Sunspot number are loaded from National Geophysical Data Center, (NGDC). Objective: the aim of this study is to determine the level of students' knowledge about the environmental health.
Methodology: The cross-sectional study was conducted at the College of Health and Medical Technology in Baghdad
city during the period from 1st march till 1st of July 2012. Data was collected by self-recording of a previously designed

Object detection in real time is considered as a challenging problem. However, it is very important in a wide range of applications, especially in field of multimedia. The players and ball are the most important objects in soccer game videos and detecting them is a challenging task because of many difficulties, such as shadow and illumination, ball size, ball occluded by players or merged with lines, and similar appearance of players. To overcome these problems, we present a new system to detect the players and ball in real-time by using background subtraction and Sobel detection. The results were more accurate and approximately two times faster than those using only background subtraction.
