Objectives: The study aims to evaluate the application of monitoring indicators for maternal, newborn and
child health through the evaluation of impact and coverage health indicators and to evaluate the usefulness of the
application of these indicators at sub primary health care centers in Baghdad City.
Methodology: A descriptive comparative design, which is using the evaluation approach, has been steered at
Sub Primary Health Centers of Baghdad City in order to evaluate the application; impact and coverage, and the
usefulness of monitoring indicators for maternal, newborn and child health from December 4th 2017 to April 29th
2018. A multistage, "non-probability" convenient, sample is selected for the present study. A total of six Sub
Primary Health Centers in Al-Karkh Health Directorate, compared with six Sub Primary Health Centers in AlRussafa
Health Directorate. A questionnaire is adopted from the World Health Organization "health monitoring
maternal, newborn and child health: understanding key progress indicators" and developed for the purpose of the
present study. Content validity and internal consistency reliability are determined for the study instrument
throughout a pilot study. Data were collected through the utilization of the study instrument and the structured
interview technique as means of data collection. Data were analyzed through the application of descriptive
statistical data analysis approach of frequency, percentage, mean, total scores and range and inferential statistical
data analysis approach that includes t-test.
Results: Findings of the study revealed that the maternal, newborn and child health indicators are not perfectly
applied and experiencing some deficiencies in their application at the sub primary health care centers.
Confirmatory data analysis throughout hypothesis testing has revealed that sub primary health care centers are
experiencing almost the same problems relative to the impact, coverage and usefulness of these indicators.
Recommendations: The study recommends that the Ministry of Health and Environment Public Health
Directorate can take serious planning for action in applying these indicators, periodic and systematically driven
monitoring and evaluating the application of such indicators, and focal personnel can be encouraged to
participate in training sessions and workshops for the benefits of applying these indicators
Maintenance of hospital buildings and its management are regarded as an important subject which needs attention because hospital buildings are service institutions which are very important to a society, requiring the search for the best procedure to develop maintenance in hospitals. The research is aimed to determine an equation to estimate the annual maintenance cost for public hospital. To achieve this aim, Al-Sader City Hospital maintenance system in Al-Najaf province has been studied with its main elements through survey of data, records and reports relating to maintenance during the years of the study 2008-2014 and to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threat points in the current system through Swat analysi

Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of an educational program on nurses' practices concerning therapeutic communication.
Methodology: A quasi experimental design was carried out at Karbala Center for Cardiac Diseases and Surgery, Imam Hussein Medical City and Al-Handia General Hospital for period 10th June 2017 to the 15th of August 2018.
The program and instruments were constructed and developed by the researcher to measure the purpose of the study. Purposive sample comprised of (57) nurses were divided into two groups, study and control groups. The questionnaire consisted from two parts, first part is related to nurses' demographic characteristics and second part which include practices checkl
Objective(s): evaluation of effectiveness of cardiac rehabilitation instructional program on health-related quality of life and to find out the relationship between health-related quality of life and patient’s socio-demographic and clinical characteristics. Methodology: A descriptive study design was carried out from 8th August, 2022 to 10th January, 2023. A non-probability purposive sample of (50) patients undergone coronary artery bypass graft surgery at Iraqi center for heart diseases using pre-experimental design. The data were collected by direct interview with sample using questionnaire composed of three parts: part (1) Socio-demographic and clinical characteristics which included 11 items. CD14 expressed on the surface of various cells, or it found soluble in saliva and other body fluids. It has been proposed that soluble CD14 (sCD14) may play a protective role by controlling Gram negative bacterial infections through its capacity to bind lipopolysaccharide. This study was conducted to assess the level of soluble CD14 in saliva of patients with different periodontal diseases and healthy subjects and determine its correlation with clinical periodontal parameters. Materials & Methods: A total of 80 subjects, age ranged (25-50) years old, divided into three main groups, group ? consisted of 45 chronic

Hence‚ the researcher attempts to identify the skills of administrating time and the reasons that cause the waste of time of the Heads of Departments at university of Baghdad.
Significance of the research:
Time is very important to all educational administrators and one of them is the institutions of Higher education. One of the

The expand of city horizontally represent a problem in itself because it leads to loss of civil lands and overpass the agricultural lands as a result ,the ratio of habitation of land usage is so large in comparison with another usages of lands of the cities ; therefore ; many co
In this paper, a mathematical model was built for the supply chain to reduce production, inventory, and transportation in Baghdad Company for Soft Drink. The linear programming method was used to solve this mathematical model. We reduced the cost of production by reduced the daily work hours, the company do not need the overtime hours to work at the same levels of production, and the costs of storage in the company's warehouses and agents' stores have been reduced by making use of the stock correctly, which guarantees reducing costs and preserving products from damage. The units transferred from the company were equal to the units demanded by the agents. The company's mathematical model also achieved profits by (84,663,769) by re

So, leakage power reduction is an important design issue for active and standby modes as long as the technology scaling increased. In this paper, a simultaneous active and standby energy optimization methodology is proposed for 22 nm sub-threshold CMOS circuits. In the first phase, we investigate the dual threshold voltage design for active energy per cycle minimization. A slack based genetic algorithm is proposed to find the optimal reverse body bias assignment to set of noncritical paths gates to ensure low active energy per cycle with the maximum allowable frequency at the optimal supply vo
