Effectiveness of Education Program on Health Care Workers’ Practices toward Waste Management in Primary Health Care Centers
...Show More Authors

Objective(s): The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of education program on Health Care Workers’ practices toward Primary Health Care Centers waste management and to identify the relationship between these practices and the demographic characteristics of the health workers. Methodology: A quasi- experimental design (pre-post tests) has been used in the present study for the period of November 16th 2014 to June 22nd 2015 .The allocated sample in the present study is consisted of (60) health care worker. The sample was randomly divided into two groups of (30) health care workers each. The study group consisted of (30) health care worker who are exposed to the program. The group that is not exposed to the program was considered the control group. The data are collected through use of A practice checklist for health care workers’ was use prior to performing educational program during work time. The practice checklist for health care workers’ was composed of (30) items . A practice test is used for pre- education and post-education immediately. Results: All the health care workers in the study group work in PHCs are having good practices post the program implementation and perform principles of waste management practices in ideal way.. Recommendations: Availability of scientific using journal or books in Arabic language and emphasis on the importance of motivation for the health care workers to this practices in the medical waste management.

Psychological hesitation and its relationship to the accuracy of serving reception skills among Baghdad University volleyball team players
...Show More Authors

This study aims to determine the relationship between psychological frequency and the accuracy of receiving a serve in volleyball. The researchers used a descriptive approach, which is best suited to the research problem. The study sample consisted of 12 players from the University of Baghdad volleyball team. Ten players were selected purposively, and two were excluded from the research sample for use in a pilot study, as well as players who participate in volleyball at sports clubs. The sample size represented 83% of the original population. The researchers used the Psychological Frequency Scale developed by Firas Abdul Hussein (1999) for sports-related applications, which consists of 51 positive and negative items. The SPSS version 26 sof

Synthesis, Spectral Studies, and Theoretical Treatment of some New Metal Complexes with Tridentate Ligand (Schiff and Mannich Base)
...Show More Authors

New metal ions complexes of tridentate ligand (1-((dicyclohexylamino) methyl)-3-(1,5-dimethyl-3-oxo-2-phenyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrzol-4-ylimino) indolin-2-one) have been synthesized and characterized by chemical-physical analysis. The ligand acts as a tridentate for the complexation reaction with all metal ions. The new complexes, possessing the general formula [M(L)Cl]Cl where M=[Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Pd(II), Cd(II), Pt(IV) and Hg(II) ] ,show tetrahedral geometry. All complexes ,except Pd(II) complex which has a square planar geometry and Pt(IV) which show an octahedral geometry. The geometry of the prepared compounds has been proposed in another method theoretically by using one of the calculation molecular programs (Hype

Synthesis and Characterization of Fe(II),Cd(II),Hg(II) and Ag (I) complexes with 2-Thiotolylurea Ligand
...Show More Authors

Complexes reaction of Fe+2, Cd+2, Hg+2 and Ag+ with the 2-thiotolylurea were prepared in ethanolic medium with the (1:1) M:L ratio yielded a series of neutral complexes. The prepared complexes were characterized using flame atomic absorption, micoelemental analysis (C.H.N), chloride content (Mohr Method) , FT.IR and UV-Vis spectroscopic, as well as magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurement. From the above data, the proposed molecular structure for Fe+2, Cd+2 and Hg+2 complexes are tetrahedral geometry while Ag+ complex is trigonal structure.

N-Benzylidene m-nitrobenzeneamines (Schiff bases) were prepared by condensation of m-nitroaniline with aromatic aldehydes. These Schiff bases were found to react with maleic anhydride to give 2-Aryl-3-(m-nitrophenyl)-2, 3-dihydro [1, 3] oxazepine–4, 7–diones and with phthalic anhydride to give 2-Aryl-3–(m-nitrophenyl)–2, 3–dihydrobenz|| 1, 2-e|||| 1, 3] oxazepine–4, 7-diones which were reacted with pyrrolidine to give the anilide–pyrrolidides of maleic acid and phthalic acid.

Study of the Static and Dynamic Nuclear Properties and Form Factors for Some Magnesium Isotopes 29-34 Mg
...Show More Authors

Nuclear structure of 29-34Mg isotopes toward neutron dripline have been investigated using shell model with Skyrme-Hartree–Fock calculations. In particular nuclear densities for proton, neutron, mass and charge densities with their corresponding rms radii, neutron skin thicknesses and inelastic electron scattering form factors are calculated for positive low-lying states. The deduced results are discussed for the transverse form factor and compared with the available experimental data. It has been confirmed that the combining shell model with Hartree-Fock mean field method with Skyrme interaction can accommodate very well the nuclear excitation properties and can reach a highly descriptive and predictive power when investiga

A Numerical Study of Concrete Composite Circular Columns encased with GFRP I-Section using the Finite Element Method
...Show More Authors

This paper presents ABAQUS simulations of fully encased composite columns, aiming to examine the behavior of a composite column system under different load conditions, namely concentric, eccentric with 25 mm eccentricity, and flexural loading. The numerical results are validated with the experimental results obtained for columns subjected to static loads. A new loading condition with a 50 mm eccentricity is simulated to obtain additional data points for constructing the interaction diagram of load-moment curves, in an attempt to investigate the load-moment behavior for a reference column with a steel I-section and a column with a GFRP I-section. The result comparison shows that the experimental data align closely with the simulation

Design and Analysis of the Hexagonal-Shaped Antenna with Multi-Band Feature for WLAN, WiMAX, and LTE Applications
...Show More Authors

Developing and researching antenna designs are analogous to excavating in an undiscovered mine. This paper proposes a multi-band antenna with a new hexagonal ring shape, theoretically designed, developed, and analyzed using a CST before being manufactured. The antenna has undergone six changes to provide the best performance. The results of the surface current distribution and the electric field distribution on the surface of the hexagonal patch were theoretically analyzed and studied. The sequential approach taken to determine the most effective design is logical, and prevents deviation from the work direction. After comparing the six theoretical results, the fifth model proved to be the best for making a prototype. Measured results rep
