Objective: The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of preoperative psycho - education al
program on cardiac surgery patients information and their level of stress. And find out the differences
in the Psycho educational
program with regard to patients demographic characteristics such as age and gender.
Methodology Aquazi-experimental study was carried out to determine the effectiveness of
preoperative education program on stress for cardiac surgery patients in Baghdad city from the 28th of
March, 2010 , to 19th of September ,2011.
The preoperative psycho - educational program, as well as the questionnaire was constructed as a tool of
data collection for the purpose of the study. Purposive (non probability) samples of 40 patients who
have undergone cardiac surgery (CABG &VR) are selected from Ibn AL-Bitar Specialized Center for
cardiac surgery. The researcher divided the samples into two equal groups (the study and control
groups) .
Data was analysis through the use of the suitable statistical methods.
Results: The results of the study indicates that there are significant differences in the patients
knowledge towards cardiac surgery in the study & control groups through pre-test, post-test.
Recommendations: The study recommended that such program should be implemented in the form of
session for the patients before undergone cardiac surgery to prepare them to cope with the stress and
improve their knowledge.
The present study analyzes the effect of couple stress fluid (CSF) with the activity of connected inclined magnetic field (IMF) of a non-uniform channel (NUC) through a porous medium (PM), taking into account the sliding speed effect on channel walls and the effect of nonlinear particle size, applying long wavelength and low Reynolds count estimates. The mathematical expressions of axial velocity, stream function, mechanical effect and increase in pressure have been analytically determined. The effect of the physical parameter is included in the present model in the computational results. The results of this algorithm have been presented in chart form by applying the mathematical program.

The aim of this paper is to model and optimize the fatigue life and hardness of medium carbon steel CK35 subjected to dynamic buckling. Different ranges of shot peening time (STP) and critical points of slenderness ratio which is between the long and intermediate columns, as input factors, were used to obtain their influences on the fatigue life and hardness, as main responses. The current research aims to identify psychological resilience among middle school students. a sample of (300) male and female students was chosen from Al- Azmaa Intermediate School for Boys and Ohran Intermediate School for Girls, It is affiliated with the second Rusafa Education Directorate in Baghdad Governorate. To achieve the research objective, the researcher adopted a scale of Luthar & Cicchetti (2000) to measure psychological resilience. The results showed that middle school students have psychological resilience. There is no significant difference in psychological resilience between males and females.
