Objectives: The study intends to identify the sources of work-related stress that might face the nurses working at
psychiatric wards in Baghdad psychiatric hospitals and to find out a relationship between the levels of stress and
some demographic characteristics.
Methodology: A descriptive study was achieved from the 10th of December, 2013 through the 10th of March, 2014.
Non-probability purposive samples of 94 nurses who work in psychiatric wards of Baghdad psychiatric hospitals
were recruited to meet the study objectives. Psychological Stress Inventory (PSI) the Arabic version, which was
modified by Abu Al-Hussein (2010) (20), was used. Data were analyzed by using the statistical analysis program of
SPSS 19th version. Descriptive analysis: frequencies, percentages and distribution; inferential analysis: Chi2 and
correlation coefficient were applied.
Results: The results indicate that the levels of work-related stress was found as high (37.2%), intermediate (33.0%),
and low (29.8%) and the highest level of work-related stress is found in regards to the monetary domain (50.0%),
work environment domain (47.9%), and political domain (45.8%)..
Recommendations: The study recommends that: more male nurses to be appointed at psychiatric. To find real
specialized psychiatric nurses. To put criteria to appoint a bachelor level in nursing at these wards; engaging nurses
working at psychiatric wards in special sessions of stress management; and finally, fixing a professional criteria of
the relation between nurses and doctors or/ and boss during the time of working at these wards

In this work , impact strength and the water absorption ratio of powders of white and brown local chicken eggshell reinforced epoxy with different volume fractions ( 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 and 5 % ) were studied . The experimental results show that composite filled by ( 1 % Vol . )of white eggshell powder exhibited maximum impact strength and high resistance to tape water , so we choose this volume fraction to use the epoxy composite in coating . Optical microscopic observations are taken to develop a better understanding of the phenomena taking place in the material system at microscopic level .
The field experiment was conducted with the aim of developing and testing an automatic sprayer for agricultural spray experiments and studying the effect of spray pressure, spray speed and spray height on the spraying process. The effects of the major spraying factors (pressure, speed, and height) on the spraying performance of the automatic sprayer were studied. The objective of the research is to identify the level of supervisory performance of the educational supervisor from the point of view of headmasters at secondary schools. The problem was the need to evaluate performance. A sample of (97) school headmasters was chosen to collect the needed data, they proportionated (38%) of the total community. the researcher designed a questionnaire consisted of (43) paragraphs with five areas. The results showed that there is a good level of performance among supervisors; there are no significant differences in the variable of the certificate, while there were significant differences in terms of gender for the benefit of males. One hundred and six S. aureus were isolated from 250 Nasal swabs of
Healthcare workers and patients at Al- Kadhamia teaching Hospital and Al-
Numan hospital, Baghdad, Iraq. The study was undertaken over a period of
