Four major factories (Petroleum Refineries Company, Detergents Plant, Thermal Power Plant, and Gaseous Power Plant) are located to the north of Baiji City. The main source of water supply in Iraq is the surface water, especially Tigris and Euphrates Rivers and their tributaries.
