Objective(s): To evaluate of nurses practice toward orthopaedic wound infection and to determine the
relationship between orthopaedic nurses practice and their demographic data characteristic
Methodology: A descriptive study was carried out at orthopaedic wards of Baghdad Teaching Hospital started
from February 1
st, 2011 to August 30th, 2011. A non-probability sample of (39) orthopaedic nurses who were
working in orthopaedic wards were selected from Baghdad Teaching Hospital. The data were collected through
the use of questionnaire , which consists of two parts (1)Demographic data form that consists of a(10) items
and (2) orthopaedic nurses practice form that consists of (4)sections contain (69) items, by mean of direct
observe technique with orthopaedic nurses. The validity of the questionnaire was determined through
presenting it to (20) specialist expert and its reliability were determined through a pilot study which was
carried out through the period from April 1st, 2011 to June 15th, 2011. Descriptive statistical analysis
procedures (frequency, percentage, mean of score) and inferential analysis procedures (person correlation
coefficient, contingency coefficient) were used for the data analysis.
Results: The findings of the study indicated that the orthopaedic nurses have inadequate or deficit in some
aspects relative to wound infection in orthopaedic wards. No significant relationship was found between
orthopaedic nurses practice and their gender, years of employment in nursing field, years of experience in
orthopaedic wards and duration of the training session, while a significant relationship was found between
orthopaedic nurses practice and their age, marital status, level of education, sharing in training session and the
number of training session that orthopaedic nurses were engaged it.
Recommendations: The researcher recommend that special training session , concerning wound infection and
standards orthopaedic nurses practice toward wound infection control that should be followed in orthopaedic
wards ,and booklets should be designed and presented all orthopaedic nurses, in addition to make a new study
that can evaluate orthopaedic nurses knowledge concerning wound infection control in orthopaedic wards.
The adsorption ability of Iraqi initiated calcined granulated montmorillonite to adsorb Symmetrical Schiff Base Ligand 4,4’-[hydrazine-1, 2-diylidenebis (methan-1-yl-1-ylidene)) bis (2-methoxyphenol)] derived from condensation reaction of hydrazine hydrate and 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde, from aqueous solutions has been investigated through columnar method. The ligand (H2L) adsorption found to be dependent on adsorbent dosage, initial concentration and contact time. All columnar experiments were carried out at three different pH values (5.5, 7and 8) using buffer solutions at flow rate of (3 drops/ min.),at room temperature (25±2)°C. The experimental isotherm data were analyzed using Langmuir, Freundlich and Temkin equations. The monol

The research problem is the inability of traditional cost methods of providing useful information to the departments of units to take many administrative decisions, particularly decisions related to the product and calculating the costs of the quality of the sound and the availability of the need and the ability to replace methods capa

The research has produced a number of conclusions, the most important of which is that all Islamic banks sample a safe case of financial failure under the Altman model, while according to the Springate model all Islamic banks sample a search for a financial failure except the Islamic Bank of Noor Iraq for Investment and Finance )BINI(. The complexes were characterized using melting point, conductivity measurement and determination the percentage of the metal in the complexes by flame (AAS). Magnetic susceptibility, Spectroscopic Method [FTIR and UV-Vis]. The general formula have been given for the prepared mixed ligand complexes [M(Ala)2(TMP)(H2O)] where L- alanine (abbreviated as (Ala ) = (C5H9NO2) deprotonated primary ligand, L- Alanine ion .= (C5H8NO2 -) Trimethoprim (abbreviated as (TMP ) = C10H11N3O3S M(II) = Co (II),Ni(II) ,Cu(II), Zn(II) ,Cd(II) and Hg(II). The study has tackled three important variables on the strategic and organizational level, that are : (Administrative skill, strategic Entrepreneurship and organizational flexibility). Through the statistical analysis is, the research hers have sought to identify the relation among them. The study has been applied on a sample of (44) private banks in Iraq. A questionnaire, which has been designed according to a number of international standards, has been used. It's made of (29) items that cover the three variables to test their hypotheses. A number of statistical tools have been used A number of conclusion have been reached and recommendations have also been suggested.
