Objectives: The study aimed at the assessment of nurses' knowledge and practice concerning Cesarean Section.
Methodology: ٨ non-experimental approach was carried out throughout the present study with the application
of a descriptive design a for the study subject. The study was carried out at two maternity hospitals in Mosul
city namely Al-Barolo and AL Khansa Hospitals. ٨ purposively sample consist of (20) Nurse who are working
in operation theater. The questionnaire was used as a means of data collection; it comprised (3) major parts. Part
one presented the demographic data. Part two, consisted of items of Nurses’ knowledge about Cesarean Section.
While, part three consisted of items of Nurses’ practices about Cesarean Section. Content validity was
determined by presenting the items to a panel of experts. Reliability of the questionnaire was determined
through the use of test and re-test approach.
Results: It has been found that the mean age of the nurses was 35.85 ± 10.44 years, and 15% of them was less
than 26 years. Sixty percent of them were married. For the level of education of the nurses, 55% of them were
graduated from intermediate nursing schools. The mean duration of nursing work in hospitals was 17.95 ± 1 1.50
years, and about 20% of them have more than 30 years in nursing work. Additionally, about half of them have
not worked in obstetric and gynecology departments.
Recommendation: The researcher recommends that the Ministry of Health should conduct training courses for
the Nurses who have qualifications to teach how to deal with Cesarean Section and the Nurses who work in
maternity unit need clear policy, job description by Ministry of Health in the operation theater.

New membrane electrodes for determination of ciprofloxacin hydrochloride were prepared depending on ciprofloxacin hydrochloride - phosphotungstic acid (CFH-PT) as an active material and these electrodes were made with three plasticizers: Di-octylphenylphosphonate(DOPH), Di-butyl phosphate (DBP)Tri-n-butyl phosphate(TBP), in PVC matrix. Complexes of (Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Cd2+ and Hg2+) with the ligand Ethyl cyano (2-methyl carboxylate phenyl azo acetate) (ECA) have been prepared and characterized by FTIR, (UV-Visible), Atomic absorption spectroscopy, Molar conductivity measurements and magnetic moments measurements. The following general formula has been suggested for the prepared complexes [M(ECA)2]Cl2 where M = (Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+ ,Zn2+, Cd2+, Hg2+) and the geometry is octahedral.
In the present article, mixed ligand metal (II) complexes have been synthesized with Schiff base (1E, 5Z, 6E)-1,7 bis (4-hydroxy-3- methoxyphenyl)-5-(3-hydroxyphenyl) imino) hepta-1,6-dien-3-one derived from Curcumin and 3-aminophenol as primary ligand and L-dopa as a secondary ligand. The Schiff base act as bidentate and arrange to the metals through the azomethine (C=N) nitrogen and (C=O) oxygen atom. The mode of bonding of the Schiff base has been affirmed on the infrared by the UV-Visible, 1H, and 13C NMR spectroscopic techniques. The magnetic susceptibility and the UV-Vis data of the complexes propose octahedral geometry around the central metal ion. Maximum values of one particle radial electronic density distribution has been calculated by using Hartree-Fock (HF)wave function with data published by[A. Sarsa et al. Atomic Data and Nuclear Data Tables 88 (2004) 163–202] for K and L shells for some Be-like ions. The Results confirm that there is a linear behavior restricted the increasing of maximum points of one particle radial electronic density distribution for K and L shells throughout some Be-like ions. This linear behavior can be described by using the nth term formula of arithmetic sequence, that can be used to calculate the maximum radial electronic density distribution for any ion within Be like ions for Z<20.

We study in this paper the composition operator that is induced by ?(z) = sz + t. We give a characterization of the adjoint of composiotion operators generated by self-maps of the unit ball of form ?(z) = sz + t for which |s|?1, |t|<1 and |s|+|t|?1. In fact we prove that the adjoint is a product of toeplitz operators and composition operator. Also, we have studied the compactness of C? and give some other partial results.
