Objectives: The study objectives are to determine the impact of education program upon the academic nurses'
practice concerning documentation of nursing sheets, and to find out the relationship between nurses knowledge
and their demographic characteristics, which include age, sex, and years of experience in medical and surgical
wards.
Methodology: A quasi- experimental study was carried out at the medical and surgical wards in teaching
hospitals in Sulaimani governorate from the beginning of March up to June 2007٠
To reach the objectives of the study anon-probability (purposive) sample of (25) academic nurses who work in
the medical and surgical wards in teaching hospitals.
The data were collected through the use of constructed questionnaire, which comprised of demographic
information and scientific knowledge concerning nursing documentation which include (19) items.
The reliability of the instrument was determined through test-retest, ([20.86) and the validity through a panel of
14 experts.
The data were analyzed through the application of descriptive statistical analysis and the application of
inferential statistical analysis.
Results: The results of the study indicated that the educational program had appositive impact on the
knowledge of the academic nursestowards documentation of nursing sheets.
Recommendations: Based on the results of the study, the investigator recommended that academic nurses
who are working in the teaching hospitals should be encouraged to participate in educational programs and
present it to the nurses who have minimum level of knowledge in order to improve their level of knowledge,
which improve quality of care in the hospitals.
Furthermore, the study recommended that a specific educational programs should be designed to other nurses in
other nursing specialties.
This research aims at building a proposed training program according to the self-regulated strategies for the mathematics teachers and to identify the effect of this program on relational Mathematics of teachers. The sample of the research was (60) Math teachers; (30) teachers as experimental group and (30) teachers as control group. In this paper, a simple fast lossless image compression method is introduced for compressing medical images, it is based on integrates multiresolution coding along with polynomial approximation of linear based to decompose image signal followed by efficient coding. The test results indicate that the suggested method can lead to promising performance due to flexibility in overcoming the limitations or restrictions of the model order length and extra overhead information required compared to traditional predictive coding techniques.

Show MoreUranium concentrations in soil were determined for ten locations in Salahdin governorate using CR-39 track detector, fission fragments track technique was used, the nuclear reaction of nuclear fission fragments obtained by the bombardment of 235U with thermal neutrons from (Am-Be) neutron source with flux (5000n.cm-2.s-1), the concentration values were calculated by a comparison with standard samples. The results of the measurements show that the uranium concentration in soil samples various from 0.42±0.018ppm in Beji province to 0.2±0.014 ppm in Tooz province with an average (0.31±0.08ppm), the values of uranium concentration in all samples are within the permissible limits universally.
