Effect of using two packing Technic on Hardness of two dental acrylic resin
...Show More Authors

Objective: the aim of this study is to invest age and determine the effect of using (2) packing
technique (conventional and new tension technique) on hardness of (2) types of heat cure acrylic
resin which are (Ivoclar and Qual dental type).
Methodology : this study was intended the using of two types of heat cure acrylic (IVoclar and
Qual dental type) which are used in construction of complete denture which packed in two different
packing technique (conventional and new tension technique) and accomplished by using a total of
(40) specimens in diameter of ( 2mm thickness, 2 cm length and 1 cm width) . This specimens were
sectioned and subdivide into (4) group each (10) specimens for one group , then signed as (A, Al B , B
1) according to the method of technique and type of acrylic that used . The hardness of the specimens
were measured by shore hardness test in technology university, Baghdad.
Results: this study revealed that the type of acrylic which packed by new tension technic had less
effect by hardness in compared with conventional packing technic, the result also showed that the
type of acrylic resin have a little effect on hardness of the two types, and also it show highly mean
value of hardness was indicate in Qual dental type in conventional technique, while the least mean
value of hardness showed in Ivoclar type in new tension technique.
Recommendations : this study has been conducted as a preliminary for future studies to give a sit
of about the effect of hardness on other types of commercial heat acrylic resin that used in
construction of prosthodontics restoration and dented prosthesis, it necessary to evaluate the
hardness of any material used in construction of denture bases , it is suggested to under take a farther
studies about using advance technique and better apparatus and device in packing the acrylic
material and measured the value of hardness and its effect on this material.

Saponification of Diethyl Adipate with Sodium Hydroxide Using Reactive Distillation
...Show More Authors

This research presents a new study in reactive distillation by adopting a consecutive reaction . The adopted consecutive reaction was the saponification reaction of diethyl adipate with NaOH solution. The saponification reaction occurs in two steps. The distillation process had the role of withdrawing the intermediate product i.e. monoethyl adipate from the reacting mixture before the second conversion to disodium adipate occurred. It was found that monoethyl adipate appeared successfully in the distillate liquid. The percentage conversion from di-ester to monoester was greatly enhanced (reaching 86%) relative to only 15.3% for the case of reaction without distillation .This means 5 times enhancement . The presence of two layers in both

Solve the problem of assignment by using multi-Objective programming
...Show More Authors

he assignment model represents a mathematical model that aims at expressing an important problem facing enterprises and companies in the public and private sectors, which are characterized by ensuring their activities, in order to take the appropriate decision to get the best allocation of tasks for machines or jobs or workers on the machines that he owns in order to increase profits or reduce costs and time As this model is called multi-objective assignment because it takes into account the factors of time and cost together and hence we have two goals for the assignment problem, so it is not possible to solve by the usual methods and has been resorted to the use of multiple programming The objectives were to solve the problem of

DIFFICULTIES IN USING THE INTERNET IN THE TEACHING OF SCIENCES
...Show More Authors

The present research aims at recognizing the difficulties and problems which hamper teachers and educators alike when using the internet for educational purposes. It discusses the benefits of the internet as a source of information or publication and as a communicative tool.Arandom sample of (30) teachers working at schools in Baghdad / Second Risafa, was selected.Three of the sample members use the internet for student project plans via internet centers, whereas 16 of them use it for chatting, emailing and research purposes. The rest of the sample have limited knowledge of the internet. The researcher used the interviewing method to gather data from

Modeling and Control of Fuel Cell Using Artificial Neural Networks
...Show More Authors

This paper includes an experimental study of hydrogen mass flow rate and inlet hydrogen pressure effect on the fuel cell performance. Depending on the experimental results, a model of fuel cell based on artificial neural networks is proposed. A back propagation learning rule with the log-sigmoid activation function is adopted to construct neural networks model. Experimental data resulting from 36 fuel cell tests are used as a learning data. The hydrogen mass flow rate, applied load and inlet hydrogen pressure are inputs to fuel cell model, while the current and voltage are outputs. Proposed model could successfully predict the fuel cell performance in good agreement with actual data. This work is extended to developed fuel cell feedback

Extraction of atropine from Datura Innoxia using liquid membrane Technique
...Show More Authors

Selective recovery of atropine from Datura innoxia seeds was studied. Applying pertraction in a rotating film contactor (RFC) the alkaloid was successfully recovered from native aqueous extracts obtained from the plant seeds. Decane as a liquid membrane and sulfuric acid as a stripping agent were used. Pertraction from native liquid extracts provided also a good atropine refinement, since the most of co-extracted from the plant species remained in the feed or membrane solution. Solid–liquid extraction of atropine from Datura innoxia seeds was coupled with RF-pertraction in order to purify simultaneously the extract obtained from the plant. Applying the integrated process, proposed in this study, a product containing 92.6% atropine was

Inhibition of Aluminum Alloy 7025 in Acid Solution Using Sulphamethoxazole
...Show More Authors

Corrosion behavior of aluminum alloy 7025 was investigated in hydrochloric acid (pH=1) containing 0.6 mol.dm-3 NaCl in the existence and absence of diverse concentrations of sulphamethoxazole as environmentally friendly corrosion inhibitor over the temperature range (298-313)K. Electrochemical polarization method using potentiostatic technique was employed. The inhibition efficiency has been raised with increased sulphamethoxazole concentration but lessened at temperature increases. The highest efficiency value was 96.5 at 298 K and 2 x10-4 mol.dm-3 concentration of sulphamethoxazole. The sulphamethoxazole adsorption was agreed with Langmuir adsorption isotherm. Some thermodynamic parameter (△Gads) and activation energy (Ea) were determin
