Poly (N, N-dimethyl aniline) Coating for Stainless Steel, Synthesis, Characterization and Corrosion Protection in Sea Water 3.5% NaCl Solution

This research involves the synthesis of conductive polymer includes: poly (N, Ndimethyl
aniline) on metal surface which is stainless steel 316 by using
electrochemical polymerization technique. Parameters of this research are voltage
rang, scan rate, number of cycles. The tests for corrosion protection of the polymer
coated and uncoated stainless steel substrate was investigated in artificial sea water
of 3.5% NaCl solution by tafel and potentiodynamic procedures. Fourier Transform
Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), UV-Visible absorption spectroscopy, Scanning
Electron Microscope (SEM) and Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) were used to
diagnose and describe the structure and morphology of the coating. Parameters of
corrosion are: corrosion current Icorr, corrosion potential Ecorr, protection efficiency
(PE %), polarization resistance (Rp) and the effect of different temperatures range
(293 to 323) K in the inhibition efficiency of coated and uncoated stainless steel
surface. Change in the free, enthalpy and entropy have been determined. Apparent
energies of activation have been calculated for the corrosion process from the
corrosion rates and Arrhenius plots. This results of corrosion test showed that Poly
(N, N-dimethyl aniline) ensure chemically stable, environmentally viable and have
good corrosion protection of stainless steel in artificial sea water of 3.5% NaCl
solution.

Assessment of Oxidative Stress Parameters for some of Baghdad City Fuel Stations Workers

Because of inhalation of the volatile substances and unintended ingestion, the risk of health problems for fuelling employees exposed to gasoline vapours in gas stations is increased. Therefore, the goal of the study was to compare the oxidative stress state of healthy volunteers, who served as the control group, to Iraqi male fuelling staff, who served as the exposed groups. The levels of total oxidant status (TOS), total antioxidant status (TAS) and oxidative stress index (OSI), malondialdehyde (MDA), Uric acid (UA), and total peroxidase activity were measured.  A total of 102 subjects divided into three groups according to the duration of fuel vapours exposure: 25 exposed for 1-10 years (G1), 50 exposed for 11-19 years (G2)

Implementation of K-Nearest Neighbors Algorithm for Predicting Heart Disease Using Python Flask

Heart disease is a non-communicable disease and the number 1 cause of death in Indonesia. According to WHO predictions, heart disease will cause 11 million deaths in 2020. Bad lifestyle and unhealthy consumption patterns of modern society are the causes of this disease experienced by many people. Lack of knowledge about heart conditions and the potential dangers cause heart disease attacks before any preventive measures are taken. This study aims to produce a system for Predicting Heart Disease, which benefits to prevent and reduce the number of deaths caused by heart disease. The use of technology in the health sector has been widely practiced in various places and one of the advanced technologies is machine lea

Convexity Properties for Integro‑Differential Operators Proposed by Hurwitz-Lerch Zeta Type Functions

In this paper, new integro-differential operators are introduced that defined by Salagean’s differential operator. The major object of the present study is to investigate convexity properties on new geometric subclasses included these new operators.

Optimum conditions for Invertase production from Saccharomyces cere-visiae using solid state fermentation

Three Saccharomyces cerevisiae isolates from different sources (China, Turkey and Egypt) were screened by culturing on solid state fermentation to select the most efficient isolate for invertase production. S. cerevisiae from China was high specific activity 34.7 U/mg. The optimum conditions for enzyme production from this isolate were determined by using a medium composed of wheat bran moisten with 1:0.5 (v:w) corn steep liquor as nitrogen source at initial pH 5.0 for 5 days at 30OC.

Comparative study between stapled versus hand sewn method for large bowel anastomosis surgery.

Background: intestinal anastomosis is one of the most commonly performed procedures it required to reestablish gastrointestinal continuity after surgical resection, traumatic disruption or bypass procedures. In last decade, advances in intestinal stapling devices have led to an increased frequency of stapled anastomosis. There are varieties of proposed benefit from a stapled technique: better blood supply, reduced tissue manipulation, less edema, uniformity of suture, adequate or perhaps wider lumen at the site of anastomosis, ease and rapidity.
Patient and methods: a prospective study was conducted on 103 patients who suffered from benign and malignant diseases in addition to trauma patients. They were d

Natural Oil Nanoemulsion-Based Gel Vehicle for Enhancing Antifungal Effect of Topical Luliconazole

Background: Luliconazole, a newer class of imidazole anti-fungal agent, is very effective against several species of fungi, especially dermatophytes. It has very low aqueous solubility acting as barrier for topical delivery and limiting its dermal availability.

Aim of the study: This study aimed to formulate luliconazole oil/water nanoemulsion by the aqueous titration method.

Methods: Solubility study resulted in selecting peppermint oil, tween 80 and transcutol p as oil phase, surfactant and cosurfactant respectively, although pseudoternary phase diagram construct nanoemulsion area for picking formulations. Fifteen o/w nanoemulsion formulations prepared and characterised f

Comparison of Some Methods for Estimating Mixture of Linear Regression Models with Application

A mixture model is used to model data that come from more than one component. In recent years, it became an effective tool in drawing inferences about the complex data that we might come across in real life. Moreover, it can represent a tremendous confirmatory tool in classification observations based on similarities amongst them. In this paper, several mixture regression-based methods were conducted under the assumption that the data come from a finite number of components. A comparison of these methods has been made according to their results in estimating component parameters. Also, observation membership has been inferred and assessed for these methods. The results showed that the flexible mixture model outperformed the others

Factors affecting asphalt concrete permanent deformation: Experimental dataset for uniaxial repeated load test

Permanent deformation in asphalt concrete pavements is pervasive distress [1], influenced by various factors such as environmental conditions, traffic loading, and mixture properties. A meticulous investigation into these factors has been conducted, yielding a robust dataset from uniaxial repeated load tests on 108 asphalt concrete samples. Each sample underwent systematic evaluation under varied test temperatures, loading conditions, and mixture properties, ensuring the data’s comprehensiveness and reliability. The materials used, sourced locally, were selected to enhance the study ʼs relevance to pavement constructions in hot climate areas, considering different asphalt cement grades and con- tents to understand material variability ef

Transverse Magnetic Form Factor for 13C(e,e) 13C with Core-Polarization Effects

Elastic magnetic M1 electron scattering form factor has been calculated for the ground state J,T=1/2-,1/2 of 13C. The single-particle model is used with harmonic oscillator wave function. The core-polarization effects are calculated in the first-order perturbation theory including excitations up to 5ħω, using the modified surface delta interaction (MSDI) as a residual interaction. No parameters are introduced in this work. The data are reasonably explained up to q~2.5fm-1 .

The Secret Reasons for the Western Scholars Studies The Biography of the prophet

Western Scholars have criticized al the material on the point of reliability . Some have taken the unduly Sceptical view that nothing is to be trusted except Quran . The present study is based on opposing view that at least the material in the early biographers is to be accepted as true , except where there are particular reasons for thinking that an anecdote has been distorted ( or invented ) through legal or political motives. It is also assumed that most of the background material culled from a large number of vaired works , is sound . This standpoint .I would claim , leads to a coherent view of Muhammad's life and achievement.
