  Seeds of barley ( Hordeum vulgare L.) plant var. In this research measuring the radioactivity of the soil batteries plant in Waziriya in Baghdad city ,where the collection of 60 samples from different locations and depth between(10cm-50cm)by using γ-ray spectrometer technique and sodium iodide detector to measure the activityof radiation of elements radiation ,where the results showed that there are aradioctivety of natural isotopes refers to the chains of U-238and Th-232and K-40and Cs-137the results show that ahigh concentration of Pb-214,Pb-212 within the permissible internationally values ,also the valuable parameters of radium and the external and internal hazard and the dose effect where its found to be permissible internationally.

The present study include a new developed method of analysis for determination of drug Spironolaction (SP) in some Pharmaceuticals by Spectrofluorometric method. Spironolaction was determined under optimal experimental condition that follows :- The excitation spectrum was (l=351 nm), the emmetion spectrum was (l=518 nm), pH=1, the suitable temperature for reaction 60oC and the optimal time less than (3) minute.          A representative sample of a thousand volunteer university students was screened for evidence of thalassemia minor.Complete blood counts using automated blood cell analysers and blood smears were examined. Patients having anemia, abnormal red cell indices or morphological features of thalassemia minor like hypochromia, microcytosis, target cells erythrocytosis and family history of thalassemia were then investigated for determination of  HbA2 & HbF levels.
