This research was conducted to investigate the water quality of the lesser Zab
river, to evaluate the water suitability for agricultural usings and report the effect of
human activities on this water. Samples were collected along the river stream
starting from Dukan area till the convergence with Tigris River. All the tests were
conducted at the labs of Environmental sciences and Technology College /
University of Mosul and Erbil water project/Erbil city.
The results of using Piper diagram showed that the water is alkine, due to the effect of the origional rock's components of that area on the water quality. While the using of Stiff diagram elucidate that the water samples contain ions belong to the area of the lesser Zab crossing which have carbonic formation. The using of Richard diagram showed that the quality of the water in all the samples tested, is good and suitable for irrigation. Also the water of the lesser Zab showed no signs of
polluted effects on the Tigris river after converging due to the length of the lesser
Zab and the dilution happening to its polluters along its path

Radiological assessment for the East Baghdad oilfield-southern part was conducted in the current study. 10 samples (scale, soil, sludge, water, and oil) from the different stages of oil production were collected. 232Th, 226Ra, and 40K in the samples were analyzed with 40% efficiency for Gamma spectrometry. system based on HPGe. During the period from September 1999 till August 2000, a
tota l of 194 catfish Silurus triostegus were collected from Garmat Ali river, orth of Basrah city. Heavy infestation with Ergasilus ogawai was recorded on the gills of S. triostegus with an incidence of infection approaching 98.9% while the average intensity of infection was 417. growing season of 2012 to test the potential of sorghum water extract in improving
yield and yield components of local cultivar of mung bean crop grown under
different moisture deficit stresses. The water stresses were applied by irrigated the
plots to field capacity and withheld the next irrigation until the soil water deficit
reaches 80, 50 and 30% of field capacity for control, mild water stress and higher

This study aimed to show the extent of compliance with the income taxpayer to provide tax returns and increase the speed of collection of these taxes in addition to increasing confidence in Income Tax department and reduce the number of cases transferred to the courts and promote taxpayer awareness in charge of the importance of system self-assessment, and study sought to investigate the effect of the existence of records documents, technical audit, and computational audit and documentary audit on income tax collections in Jordan, from the point of view of Jordanian income tax auditors ,results shows there's a strong relation between these variables and Income Tax collections.
