Background: COVID-19 is a disease that started in Wuhan/China in late 2019 and continued through 2020 worldwide. Maceration and Soxhlet apparatus were used to prepare aqueous and methanolic extracts; total phenolic content and 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) were conducted to determine the active compounds in the extracts.
