The present study conducted to study epipelic algae in the Tigris River within Baghdad city for one year from September 2011 to August 2012 due to the importance role of benthic algae in lotic ecosystems. Five sites have been chosen along the river. A total of 154 species of epipelic algae was recorded belongs to 45 genera, where Bacillariophyceae (Diatoms) was the dominant groups followed by Cyanophyceae and Chlorophyceae. The numbers of common types in three sites were 47 species. Bacillariophyceae accounted 88.31% of the total number of epipelic algae, followed by Cyanophyceae 7.14 % and Chlorophyceae 4.55%. These approaches are applied to elementary control system designs, and their respective implementation and pros and cons are introduced. The H∞ control synthesis mainly enforces closed-loop stability, covering some physical constraints and limitations. The study involved 120 women, who were distributed into two groups of breast tumor patients (30 malignant and 30 benign) and a group of controls (60 women). The patients were referred to the Center for Early Detection of Breast Tumor at Al-Alwayia Hospital for Gynecology and Obstetrics (Baghdad) during the period June-December 2011. They were investigated for the frequency of ABO blood group phenotypes, menopausal status, oral contraceptive use, body mass index and family history of breast cancer or other cancers. The present study aimed to identify the exact location and its relation to cognitive

Endocrine Abnormalities in β-thalassemia major are common disturbing
complications, that need prompt management. Importance of this work was to
evaluate the some biochemical parameters and endocrine hormones related to
the pubertal maturity and fertility status in cases with thalassemia. A sixty patients
[38 males and 22 females] with β - thalassemia major against 30 healthy subjects
[17 males and 13 females] were enrolle . The Blood levels of, Leptin, Vitamin D,
thyroid function test, parathyroid hormone, ghrelin, and sex hormones were
determined in the blood. Body Mass Index (BMI) was also evaluate. Results

    The method employed consists of converting the carboxylic acid function of (R,S) – ibuprofen – glycine to the highly reactive acid chloride and subsequent reaction with the C₂₁ hydroxyl group of prednisolone. This reactive intermediate was found to react as well with the C₁₇ tertiary hydroxyl group of the steroid to form three compounds and eight diastereomers.
