Evaluation of Radiological Activity Levels and the Radiation Doses of Soil of Babylon Batteries Plant in Waziriya

In this research measuring the radioactivity of the soil batteries plant in Waziriya in Baghdad city ,where the collection of 60 samples from different locations and depth between(10cm-50cm)by using γ-ray spectrometer technique and sodium iodide detector to measure the activityof radiation of elements radiation ,where the results showed that there are aradioctivety of natural isotopes refers to the chains of U-238and Th-232and K-40and Cs-137the results show that ahigh concentration of Pb-214,Pb-212 within the permissible internationally values ,also the valuable parameters of radium and the external and internal hazard and the dose effect where its found to be permissible internationally.

The reaction of the (L-AZD) with: [VO(II), Cr(III), Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II)], has been investigated and was isolated as tri nuclear cluster and characterized by: Ft-IR, U. v- Visible, electrical conductivity, magnetic susceptibilities at 25 Co, atomic absorption and molar ratio. The reaction of methyldopa with o-vanillin in refluxing ethanol afforded Schiff base and characterized through physical analysis with a number of spectra also the study of biological activity. The geometry of the Schiff base was identified through using (C.H.N) analysis, Mass, 1H-NMR, FT-IR, UV-Vis spectroscopy. Modified Model to Calculate Low Earth Orbit (LEO) for A satellite with Atmospheric Drag

In this paper, the satellite in low Earth orbit (LEO) with atmospheric drag perturbation have been studied, where Newton Raphson method to solve Kepler equation for elliptical orbit (i=63 , e = 0.1and 0.5, Ω =30 , ω =100 ) using a new modified model. Equation of motion solved using 4th order Rang Kutta method to determine the position and velocity component which were used to calculate new orbital elements after time step ) for heights (100, 200, 500 km) with (A/m) =0.00566 m2/kg.
