BaCoxTixFe12-2xO19 (x=0.1, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9, 1.7) were prepared using powder technology technique . X-ray diffraction with diffractometer CuKα radiation analysis and Rietveld refinement of the samples were studied and showed a single phase of hexagonal structure with SP63/mmc space group . Lattice parameters, cell volume , crystallite size and x-ray density were determined .The hexagonal structure was represented by using PowderCell program showing the atomic positions of Co ,Ti, and Fe ions.

The study  area is located to the west of Samawa city bounded by the north latitudes 31⁰11^'-31^o42^' and east longitudes 44^o58^'- 45⁰16^'and its groundwater resources are developed for supply and irrigation purposes. In order to evaluate the quality of groundwater in the study area, twenty three groundwater samples were collected and analyzed for physical and chemical parameters. In this research, thin films of CdO: Mg and n-CdO: Mg/ p-Si heterojunction with thickness (500±50) nm have been deposited at R.T (300 K) by thermal evaporation technique. These samples have been annealed at different annealing temperatures (373 and 473) K for one hour. Structural, optical and electrical properties of {CdO: Mg (1%)} films deposited on glass substrate as a function of annealing temperature are studied in detail.
