Theoretical study of ten crown ethers substituents were established to investigate some parameters that give clear view about their validity and applicability in the design of anticancer agents. Restricted hartree fock method (RHF/3-21G) were used to determine the energy difference between highest occupied molecular orbital and lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (HOMO-LUMO gap) , ionization energy, global hardness and total energy. Strong binding ability with potassium ion were obtained in some of these compounds depend on the type of substituents added to both nitrogen atoms out of the ring cavity. Such binding with potassium in abnormal and divided cancer cells result in inhibition of tumor cell growth by disrupting potassium ion homeostasis leading to kill ailing cells. Compound 10 represents the best suggested material which posses the potent anticancer activity due to its physicochemical properties required for anticancer drugs.
The two-dimensional transient heat conduction through a thermal insulation of temperature dependent thermal properties is investigated numerically using the FVM. It is assumed that this insulating material is initially at a uniform temperature. The present study aims at investigating whether Iraqi fourth -year university students are able to recognize the English presuppositions through the meaning of these linguistic triggers .To fulfil the basic requirements of the study, the researcher has conducted a test . The results of the study have validated the hypothesis of the work and it is found that the linguistic triggers are important tools in recognizing presuppositions.
This study was conducted to know some Immune responses in women with vaginal candidias is by Candidia species. Hemoglubin (Hb) was decreased significantly in patient women comparing with control group. The differential count of Blood cells revealed that neutrophils and monocytcs were increased significantly in patient women comparing with control group. The percentage of the Phagocytosis index was decreased significantly in patient women (66.45 + 15.05) comparing with control group (73.72 + 3.77) and the T- lymphocytes were decreased also in patient women (57.75 + 18.787) comparing with control group (74.25 + 7.759).
The estimation of the regular regression model requires several assumptions to be satisfied such as "linearity". In this paper, the concept of soft closed groups is presented using the soft ideal pre-generalized open and soft pre-open, which are -ᶅ- - -closed sets " -closed", Which illustrating several characteristics of these groups. We also use some games and - Separation Axiom, such as (Ʈ0, Ӽ, ᶅ) that use many tables and charts to illustrate this. In this research investigation, a total of eighteen diverse tetra- and penta-lateral cyclic compounds were synthesized. These included 1,3,4-thiadiazole, thiazolidin-4-one (via an alternative method), 1,2,4-triazole, carbothioamide, thiazole-4-one, azetidin-2-one, and oxazole. The synthesis procedure entailed a sequence of reactions. This work deals with kinetics and chemical equilibrium studies of esterification reaction of ethanol with acetic acid. The esterification reaction was catalyzed by an acidic ion exchange resin (Amberlyst- 15) using a batch stirred tank reactor. The pseudo-homogenous and Eley-Rideal models were successfully fitted with experimental data. At first, Eley-Rideal model was examined for heterogeneous esterification of acetic acid and ethanol. The pseudo-homogenous model was investigated with a power-law model. The apparent reaction order was determined to be (0.88) for Ethanol and (0.92) for acetic acid with a correlation coefficient (R2) of 0.981 and 0.988, respectively.
