Detection and Discrimination for Shadow of High Resolution Satellite Images by Spatial Filter

This paper presents a new and effective procedure to extract shadow regions of high- resolution color images. The method applies this process on modulation the equations of the band space a component of the C1-C2-C3 which represent RGB color, to discrimination the region of shadow, by using the detection equations in two ways, the first by applying Laplace filter, the second by using a Kernel Laplace filter, as well as make comparing the two results for these ways with each other's. The proposed method has been successfully tested on many images Google Earth Ikonos and Quickbird images acquired under different lighting conditions and covering both urban, roads. Experimental results show that this algorithm which is simple and effective too increase the precision rate of shadow detection, can be colored the result, and also reduces the error rate of detecting non- shadows as shadows. In this technical didn't need to morphological filters.

Incidence of intestinal parasitic infections among random samples at Al- Aziziyah hospital in Wasit province/Iraq

     The study is designed to identify intestinal parasitic infections examined at Al-Aziziyah Hospital in Wasit Governorate in Iraq. In this study, a total of (460) internal and external patients were monitored for intestinal parasitic infections. All stool samples were analyzed by the direct method (microscopic exam.) to discover the trophozoite stages and cyst stages for intestinal protozoan parasites. The solution of index-2 time-varying differential algebraic equations (DAEs) is the critical point of the equivalent variational formulation. Studying the Photodegradation of Congo Red Dye from Aqueous Solutions Using Bimetallic Au–Pd/TiO2 Photocatalyst

In this study, the photodegradation of Congo red dye (CR) in aqueous solution was investigated using Au-Pd/TiO2 as photocatalyst. The concentration of dye, dosage of photocatalyst, amount of H2O2, pH of the medium and temperature were examined to find the optimum values of these parameters. It has been found that 28 ppm was the best dye concentration. The optimum amount of photocatalyst was 0.09 g/75 mL of dye solution when the degradation percent was ~ 96 % after irradiation time of 12 hours, while the best amount of hydrogen peroxide was 7μl/75 mL of dye solution at degradation percent ~97 % after irradiation time of 10 hours, whereas pH 5 was the best value to carry out the reaction at the highest deg
