Background: Sciatic nerve injury is a common complication following IM gluteal injection in children. A controversy still exists regarding management and outcome.
Objective: To find the outcome of conservative and surgical treatment and compare it with other studies.
Patients and Methods: This is a retrospective study of 24 children( less than 15 years old) with sciatic nerve injection injury at the gluteal region. The child age, gender, type of injection drug, time of injury with complete neurological examination and EMG study were recorded. Conservative treatment including physiotherapy and surgical treatment including surgical exploration and neurolysis at the buttock region were done with follow-up 6 months to one year.

This study was aimed to monitor oral zinc sulfate role on local cervical proinflammatory cytokines in HPV-infected women comparing with these cytokines before treatment application. A cervical secretion got from 28 infected women before and after treatment with zinc sulfate, these samples assessed various markers of inflammation including interleukin-1β, IL-8, and IL-12. Results manifested that improve and clear the cervical HPV infections after three months of zinc treatment 46.43% and 21.43%, respectively. Several formulations were prepared using oral drop base, flavor, buffer, sweeteners and preservatives. Selection of best formula relied solely on physic-chemical testing of samples.
Stability study was conducted on the product for six months at different temperatures to determine the expiration date and the best storage conditions.
From the study we obtained an oral drop of good clear solution. The expiry date calculated to be not less than 2 years.
