Silver Anoparticles Ynthesized by Hree Pecies of Enus Streptococcus and Valuate Heir Ynergistic Ffects with the Il Xtracted from Syzygium Aromaticum on Ome Linical Acterial Solates
...Show More Authors

The nanoparticles biosynthesis is disclosing a new route of exploration concerned with nanotechnology. Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are integrated in familiar techniques via chemical routs, for having utterly toxic natures.  Syzygium aromaticum is an aromatic plant which belongs to the genus Eugenia. Three species of the genus Streptococcus were tested using LB for their ability to produce AgNPs and all of them had a brown appearance that confirmed their involvement in AgNPs production. AgNPs were estimated by utilizing a spectrophotometer. The antimicrobial enterprise (AgNPs) of the three species was tested against several types of dangerous bacteria. To determine the MIC, three separate concentrations (v/v) of 0.5%, 5% and 10% of clove oil with dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) were prepared (well diffusion technique). Clove oil extract together with AgNPs biosynthesized from three kinds of Streptococcus, were shown to have antimicrobial effects on unusual clinical microorganisms.

Synthesis of Silver Nanoparticles Using L.Rosa Flowers Extracts: Thermodynamic and Kinetic Studies on the Inhibitoty Effects of Nanoparticles on Creatine Kinase Activity
...Show More Authors

The present work investigates the synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) by a biological method using L.Rosa flower extract and silver nitrate as precursors. Optimum conditions of synthesis were studies, such as pH, temperature, concentration of extract, concentration of silver nitrate, and stability with time. Characterization of AgNPs was carried out using UV-visible Spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy, X-Ray Diffraction, Fourier Transform Infrared and Transmission Electron Microscopy. The biosynthesized AgNPs exhibited inhibitory effects on creatine kinase activity in the sera of patients with myocardial infarction, compared with control subjects. Thermodynamic and kinetic studies of c

The impact of inflammation on Resistin, IL-6 and CRP in Acute Myocardial Infarction Patients.
...Show More Authors

Background: Inflammation contributes across the spectrum of cardiovascular disease, including the earliest steps in atherogenesis. Myocardial Infarction (MI) is most commonly due to occlusion (blockage) of a coronary artery following the rupture of a vulnerable atherosclerotic plaque. It has been suggested that the adipose tissue may play an important role in mediating this chronic inflammatory process, human resistin, is a 12.5-kDa protein, it found in the inflammatory zone. Interleukin-6 (IL-6) is a pro-inflammatory cytokine, it secreted by T cells and macrophages to stimulate immune response. C-reactive protein (CRP) is a protein found in the blood, the levels of CRP rise in response to inflammation.

Antibacterial and morphological properties of polypyrrole/silver nanocomposites synthesized by chemical oxidative polymerization
...Show More Authors

Polypyrrole/silver (PPy/Ag) nanocomposites was synthesized via a chemical oxidative method. The AFM analysis is performed to study the surface roughness, morphology and size distribution of the PPy particles and PPy-ag nanocomposites. The results indicated that as the concentration of Ag in the nanocomposite increases, the roughness also increases. The size of nanoparticles was also evaluated and found in the range of 15 nm to 125 nm. The PPy/Ag nanocomposites exhibited an effectiveness against Gram-negative Escherichia coli showing an inhibition zone of 4mm and displayed poor efficacy against Gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus. Based on given adequate antibacterial characteristics of PPy/Ag nanocomposites, it can be identified as

Serum Level and Genetic Polymorphism of IL-38 and IL-40 in Autoimmune Thyroid Disease
...Show More Authors

Autoimmune thyroid disease mainly includes Graves’ disease (GD) and autoimmune hypothyroidism (AIH), which is caused by individual genetics, autoimmune dysfunction, and a variety of external environmental factors. Interleukin IL-38 and IL- 40 are involved in a wide range of autoimmune diseases, but little is known about IL-38 and IL-40 expression in autoimmune thyroid disease. This research included 82 female patients with Graves' disease (GD), 78 females with autoimmune hypothyroidism (AIH), and 85 female healthy controls (HC). An enzyme linked immunosorbent assay and sequencing of IL-38 and IL-40 were used to evaluate serum levels and gene polymorphism, respectively. Results showed

Raman Scattering Enhancement by silver Nanostructures Prepared by Electrical Exploding Wire Technique
...Show More Authors

This project aims to fabricate nanostructures (AgNPS) using the  electrical exploding wire (EEW) technique using Rhodamine 6G dye as the probe molecule, investigate the effect of AgNPS on the absorption spectra and surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) activities, and advance  using porous silicon as an active substrate for surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS). X-Ray diffraction (XRD) was used to investigate the structural properties of the nanostructures (AgNPs). Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) was used to investigate surface morphology. A double beam UV-Vis Spectrophotometer was used to analyze the mixed R6G laser dye(of concentration 1x  M)  absorption spectra with the nanostructures AgNPS (of concentra

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) a chronic inflammatory condition of the gastrointestinal tract characterized by alternating episodes of clinical relapse and remission  (Wallace, 2014), with Crohn's disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC) being the two primary subtypes  (Souza, 2016).  The present study was achieved in Baghdad teaching hospital from November 2021 to June  2022 to prove if the diagnostic marker of Crohn’s disease (CD) (IL-6, CRP and Calprotectin( are rises in saliva as in sera and if there are significant difference in the levels of those markers between the Crohn’s disease (CD)group and control group.

The recent study was measured the levels of C-reactive protein (CRP), Interleukin-6 (IL6

Evaluation the levels of Plasma Interleukins (IL-8, IFN-?, IL-10) in Preeclamptic Pregnancies
...Show More Authors

This study is to evaluate plasma levels of several cytokines in preeclamptic pregnancies compared to those of healthy pregnancies. Ninety pregnant women with preeclampsia (37 mild & 53 severe) and thirty healthy pregnant women were enrolled in the study. Blood samples were taken and plasma levels of IL-8, IL-10, and IFN-? were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Preeclamptic women and their severe cases but not mild cases had significantly (P<0.05) increased levels of plasma IL-8, and IFN-? as compared with healthy pregnancies. By contrast, plasma levels of IL-10 was significantly (P<0.05) increased in healthy pregnant women as compared to all groups of preeclampsia. Preeclampsia is associated with an imbalance betwe
