Improve The Fully Convolutional Network Accuracy by Levelset and The Deep Prior Method
...Show More Authors

Deep learning techniques allow us to achieve image segmentation with excellent accuracy and speed. However, challenges in several image classification areas, including medical imaging and materials science, are usually complicated as these complex models may have difficulty learning significant image features that would allow extension to newer datasets. In this study, an enhancing technique for object detection is proposed based on deep conventional neural networks by combining levelset and standard shape mask. First, a standard shape mask is created through the "probability" shape using the global transformation technique, then the image, the mask, and the probability map are used as the levelset input to apply the image segmentation. The test results show that when using the proposed method with DCNN, it can achieve a close segmentation area and extract features with higher detail than traditional segmentation. The proposed model achieved 94.43% in precision and 95.91% in recall %, so it got 95.16% in F1-score. When comparing the proposed model with the same CNN model without Levelset, the result shows that the proposed model achieved accuracy of 0.951, which is higher than CNN model without Levelset that achieved 0.902.

Comprehensive Study of <scp>PAN</scp>‐<scp>NaBF4</scp> Solid Polymer Electrolytes: Insights Into Optical, Structural, Thermal, Electrical, and Electrochemical Properties for Sodium‐Ion Batteries
...Show More Authors
ABSTRACT<p>This research explores the use of solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) as a conductive medium for sodium ions in sodium‐ion batteries, presenting a possible alternative to traditional lithium‐ion battery technology. The researchers prepare SPEs with varying molecular weight ratios of polyacrylonitrile (PAN) and sodium tetrafluoroborate (NaBF4) using a solution casting method with dimethyl formamide as the solvent. Through optical absorbance measurements, we identified the PAN:NaBF4 (80:20) SPE composition as having the lowest energy band gap value (4.48 eV). This composition also exhibits high thermal stability based on thermogravimetric analysis results. </p> ... Show More

Feasibility of Internet of Things Application for Real-Time Healthcare for Malaysian Pilgrims
...Show More Authors

Internet of Things (IoT) technology could be an effective solution to accomplish real-time retrieval of historical electronic health records (EHRs) to present better service of healthcare. In a pilgrimage environment such as the Hajj, IoT can be applied by identifying the non-local patients as electronic tags, and the tag data can be read by wireless sensors. The data that is collected using Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) can be acquired from a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) in order to accomplish many decisions, such as sending an ambulance to a patient’s location, sending an emergency alert to his immediate family circle, and retrieving his EHR from a database. The main contribution of this research is to propose a conceptual IoT

Software Fault Estimation Tool Based on Object-Oriented Metrics
...Show More Authors

A fault is an error that has effects on system behaviour. A software metric is a value that represents the degree to which software processes work properly and where faults are more probable to occur. In this research, we study the effects of removing redundancy and log transformation based on threshold values for identifying faults-prone classes of software. The study also contains a comparison of the metric values of an original dataset with those after removing redundancy and log transformation. E-learning and system dataset were taken as case studies. The fault ratio ranged from 1%-31% and 0%-10% for the original dataset and 1%-10% and 0%-4% after removing redundancy and log transformation, respectively. These results impacted direct

New Technique for Solving Autonomous Equations
...Show More Authors

This paper demonstrates a new technique based on a combined form of the new transform method with homotopy perturbation method to find the suitable accurate solution of autonomous Equations with initial condition.  This technique is called the transform homotopy perturbation method (THPM). It can be used to solve the problems without resorting to the frequency domain. The implementation of the suggested method demonstrates the usefulness in finding exact solution for linear and nonlinear problems. The practical results show the efficiency and reliability of technique and easier implemented than HPM in finding exact solutions. Finally, all algorithms in this paper implemented in MATLAB version 7.12.
