Some Transformation Properties with Omitted Value
...Show More Authors

The purpose of this  paper is to show that for a holomorphic and univalent function in class S, an omitted –value transformation  yields a class of starlike functions as a rotation transformation of  the Koebe function, allowing both the image and rotation of the function

to be connected. Furthermore, these functions have several properties that are not far from a convexity properties. We also show that Pre- Schwarzian derivative is not invariant since the convexity property of the function   is so weak.

Evaluating the Knowledge for Integrating RM and VM Using BIM in the Iraqi Construction Sector
...Show More Authors

The construction industry plays a crucial role in the countries' economy, especially in the developed country. This point encourages the concerned institution to use new techniques and integrate many techniques and methods to maximize the benefits. The main objective of this research is to evaluate the use of risk management, value management, and building information modeling in the Iraqi construction industry. The evaluation process aims at two objectives. The direct objective was to evaluate the knowledge in risk management (RM), value management (VM), and building information modeling (BIM). The indirect objective was to support the participants with information related to the main items mentioned. The questionnaire

The role of intellectual capital in promoting financial performance an applied study on a sample of the companies listed in Iraq stock exchange
...Show More Authors

The interest in the intellectual capital and its development is a civilized necessity imposed by the requirements of the times and cannot imagine an advanced society in its potential productivity in poor efficiency of human capital, and features the work environment change permanently, putting the management of financial companies against a constant challenge toward coping with new developments in this changing environment and this is not taken unless owned by these companies qualified human resources and the provision of Culture organizers have, which manifested itself with the research problem by the following two questions:

  1. Did the intellectual capital value specific financial and

A Modified Hestenes-Stiefel Conjugate Gradient Method and its Global convergence for unconstrained optimization
...Show More Authors

In this paper, we proposed a modified Hestenes-Stiefel (HS) conjugate
gradient method. This achieves a high order accuracy in approximating the second
order curvature information of the objective function by utilizing the modified
secant condition which is proposed by Babaie-Kafaki [1], also we derive a nonquadratic
conjugate gradient model. The important property of the suggestion
method that is satisfy the descent property and global convergence independent of
the accuracy of the line search. In addition, we prove the global convergence under
some suitable conditions, and we reported the numerical results under these
conditions.

On the Existence and Oscillatory Solutions of Multiple Delay Differential Equation
...Show More Authors

In this paper, we introduce new conditions to prove that the existence and boundedness of the solution by convergent sequences and convergent series. The theorem of Krasnoselskii, Lebesgue’s dominated convergence theorem and fixed point theorem are used to get some sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions. Furthermore, we get sufficient conditions to guarantee the oscillatory property for all solutions in this class of equations. An illustrative example is included as an application to the main results.

On The extension Bi-Normality of Linear Operators
...Show More Authors

In this paper, we introduce the bi-normality set, denoted by , which is an extension of the normality set, denoted by  for any operators  in the Banach algebra . Furthermore, we show some interesting properties and remarkable results. Finally, we prove that it is not invariant via some transpose linear operators.

Image Watermarking using Integer Wavelet Transform and Discrete Cosine Transform
...Show More Authors

In the current research work, a system of hiding a text in a digital grayscale image has been presented. The algorithm system that had been used was adopted two transforms Integer Wavelet transform and Discrete Cosine transformed. Huffman's code has been used to encoding the text before the embedding it in the cover image in the HL sub band. Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) was used to measure the effect of embedding text in the watermarked image; also correlation coefficient has been used to measure the ratio of the recovered text after applying an attack on the watermarked image and we get a good result. The implementation of our proposed Algorithm is realized using MATLAB version 2010a.

Modeling Extreme COVID-19 Data in Iraq
...Show More Authors

This paper considers the maximum number of weekly cases and deaths caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in Iraq from its outbreak in February 2020 until the first of July 2022. Some probability distributions were fitted to the data. Maximum likelihood estimates were obtained and the goodness of fit tests were performed. Results revealed that the maximum weekly cases were best fitted by the Dagum distribution, which was accepted by three goodness of fit tests. The generalized Pareto distribution best fitted the maximum weekly deaths, which was also accepted by the goodness of fit tests. The statistical analysis was carried out using the Easy-Fit software and Microsoft Excel 2019.

Evaluating the financial performance according to the traditional and modern financial indicators
...Show More Authors

The research aims to develop the general performance and improve the level of activity of private insurance companies in line with the current progress of the country. Besides, Evaluating financial performance to diagnose weaknesses and strengths in sample research companies and then developing appropriate solutions. The deviation in the financial performance of the research sample was revealed by measuring the various accounts of the company. The research sample included five companies in the private insurance sector listed in the Iraqi Stock Exchange Market, which represent the private insurance sector. The research concluded that the added economic value is a broad concept that goes beyond the traditional performance evaluation process a

A Heuristic Approach to the Consecutive Ones Submatrix Problem
...Show More Authors

Given a matrix, the Consecutive Ones Submatrix (C1S) problem which aims to find the permutation of columns that maximizes the number of columns having together only one block of consecutive ones in each row is considered here. A heuristic approach will be suggested to solve the problem. Also, the Consecutive Blocks Minimization (CBM) problem which is related to the consecutive ones submatrix will be considered. The new procedure is proposed to improve the column insertion approach. Then real world and random matrices from the set covering problem will be evaluated and computational results will be highlighted.
