Toll-like receptors (TLRs) play a key role in innate immune response activation against viruses. TLR7, one of the TLRs family, is potentially important in controlling viral infection and the production of vaccines against the virus. The wide spectrum of discrepancy in response to antiviral drugs among different populations which is emerged by some pandemics like COVID-19 might be due to their different TLR7 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). The present study aimed to investigate the consequences of 401 non-synonymous missense SNPs (nsSNPs) within TLR7 on its protein structure, stability, and function by using specific bioinformatics tools. Seven bioinformatics tools were used to investigate 401 TLR7 nsSNPs from the dbSNP database. The results showed that the six variations, rs1171508003 (R262H), rs35160120 (F580S), rs968155471 (H587Q), rs202028806 (Y871D), rs1331496205 (W933S), and rs181600414 (R1004W), were found to be extremely deleterious by all of the employed bioinformatics tools. All six variations showed an impact on the protein’s structure, function, and stability. Among them, Y871D (rs202028806) and R1004W (rs181600414) were revealed as the most damaging nsSNPs. This study suggested that the predicted six damaging variants of TLR7 could indirectly or directly destabilize the structure of protein and deviate its function to some extent.
The aim of the research is to clarify the measurement of the impact regarding financial value of human resources on investors' decisions by considering that the human element is one of the assets of the company. Therefore, a set of criteria must be available to determine the applicability of these standards in the human resource because it has an effective role in the success for the company. Is to measure the value of human resources in a financial format according to the first two methods depends on the value and the second depends on the cost.
In order to achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was designed to survey the views of a number of employees of the General Company for Leather Industries in order to arriv

It was indicated that Giardia is the most important agent that causes acute and chronic diarrhea in infants, young children and travelers. The aim was to detect the influence of host HLA alleles on the susceptibility to infection with G. lamblia in a sample of Iraqi patients. A total of (40) patients with giardiasis aged (14-39) years were registered. All of them were symptomatic and (40) healthy individuals matched age and sexes were included as controls. All patients were prepared to stool examination to detect G. lamblia and eliminated other pathogens, as well as human leukocyte antigen (HLA) class II alleles (DRB1) typing. The most common detected alleles in pat

Four frogs (Rana ridibunda) were stimulated by single intra-peritoneal injection of norepinephrine-HCl . Five different peptides;1(18) A, 2(19) L, 3(20) I,4(21) E and 5(22) Y were isolated and quantified. The peptide 3(20)I had 5.87% of hemolysis, while healthy human lymphocytes cytotoxic activity was for 2(19)L with inhibition( -10.4%).All peptides were subjected to polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The results revealed peptides 1(18)A, 2(19)L, 3(20)I which appeared as low as 10 KDa marker. Theoretically, the whole polypeptide had a molecular weight 7488.61 Dalt

Show MoreBackground: The potential use of zinc oxide and other metal oxide nanoparticles in biomedical are gaining interest in the scientific and medical communities, largely due to the physical and chemical properties of these nanomaterials. The present work revealed the effect of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnONPs) on the total salivary peroxidase enzyme activity of human saliva in comparison to de-ionized water. Materials and methods: Forty eight unstimulated saliva samples were collected from dental students/University of Baghdad 18-22 years. Then measure the total salivary peroxidase activity first without any addition to human saliva as a control, second with dilution the saliva with de-ionized water, and third with zinc oxide nanoparticles in c

The research problem was the questions posed by the researcher, the most important of which is the extent to which the research sample realizes the importance of applying outsourcing to human resources activities and its role in organizational vi

The results of BTN1A1 gene analysis showed a highly significant Different (P<0.01) between genotypes of BTN1A1 gene’s genotypes AA, AB the percentage were 72.00, 28.00 % respectively. Results showed that services per conception and days open was significantly (P<0.05) affected by polymorphism of BTN1A1 gene and for cows with AA genotype, there was also a significant difference (P<0.05) between the genotypes of BTN1A1 gene for IgG concentration in calves blood who belong to mother

However, it is considered as more threatening due to the spread of the smoking habit, a major risk factor of the disease. Scientists have been collecting and analyzing the biological data for a long time, in attempts to find methods to predict cancer before it occurs. Analysis of these data requires the use of artificial intelligence algorithms and neural network approaches. In this paper, one of the deep neural networks was used, that is the enhancer Deep Belief Network (DBN), which is constructed from two Restricted Boltzmann Machines (RBM). The visible nodes for the first RBM are 13 nodes and 8 nodes in each hidden layer for the two RBMs. The enhancer DBN was tr

Show MoreEvolutionary algorithms (EAs), as global search methods, are proved to be more robust than their counterpart local heuristics for detecting protein complexes in protein-protein interaction (PPI) networks. Typically, the source of robustness of these EAs comes from their components and parameters. These components are solution representation, selection, crossover, and mutation. Unfortunately, almost all EA based complex detection methods suggested in the literature were designed with only canonical or traditional components. Further, topological structure of the protein network is the main information that is used in the design of almost all such components. The main contribution of this paper is to formulate a more robust EA wit

This study was done to investigate the relationship between TP53 gene expression and the appearance and progression of acute myeloid leukemia in Iraq. This study included 100 subjects, divided into 60 patients suffering from pre-diagnostic acute myeloid leukemia and 40 healthy individuals. The difference in TP53 gene expression between acute myeloid leukemia patients and healthy individuals has been investigated, and the gene expression of TP53 has been measured after extraction of total RNA at concentrations (15–83 n
