Non Linear Optical Properties of Silver Nanoparticles
...Show More Authors

In the present work, a Z-scan technique was used to study the nonlinear optical properties, represented by the nonlinear refractive index and nonlinear absorption coefficients of the Ag nanoparticles. In this technique, a pulsed second harmonic Nd :YAG laser at wavelength 532 nm was used. The results show that the nonlinear refractive index and nonlinear absorption coefficients of the Ag nanoparticles are found to be dependent on the size these nanoparticles.

Recent advances in the Biosynthesis of Zirconium Oxide Nanoparticles and their Biological Applications
...Show More Authors

A critical milestone in nano-biotechnology is establishing reliable and ecological friendly methods for fabricating metal oxide NPs. Because of their great biodegradable, electrical, mechanical, and optical qualities, zirconia NPs (ZrO2NPs) attract much interest among all zirconia NPs (ZrO2NPs). Zirconium oxide (ZrO2) has piqued the interest of researchers throughout the world, particularly since the development of methods for the manufacture of nano-sized particles. An extensive study into the creation of nanoparticles utilizing various synthetic techniques and their potential uses has been stimulated by their high luminous efficiency, wide bandgap, and high exciton binding energy. Zirconium dioxide nano

Synthesis of gold nanoparticles using ceftriaxone sodium as a reducing and stabilizing agent
...Show More Authors

The synthesis of gold nanoparticles AuNPs was achievedby the reduction of sodium tetrachloroaurate (III) (NaAuCl4) with ceftriaxone sodium (CR) in aqueous solutionswithout the use of other reducing agent. The effect of reactants concentration, temperature and pH on the sizes and morphology of AuNPs were also studied. The synthesized AuNPs were characterized by UV- visible spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), and atomic force microscope (AFM) analysis. Conjugation of antibiotic with the nanoparticles was characterized by FTIR spectrophotometry.

Experimental and theoretical study of (PVC) nanoparticles prepared by laser ablation in ethanol
...Show More Authors

In this manuscript divide into two parts the first experimental and the second theoretical. The experimental part of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) can be used with aluminum (30%). Nanomaterials are synthesized by a laser pulse melting solution by ethanol. The effect of laser on the structural, morphological, optical, and electrical properties of nanoparticles (PVC) was examined by UV spectroscopy, x-ray diffraction (XRD), electron microscopy (TEM). The theoretical part of the DFT can be used to approximate the generalized gradient of the Perdew, Burke, and Ernzerhof (PBE) / 6-31G (d) groups, which were created using additional Gaussian 09 software through Gaussian 5.08. To build PVC nanocrystal pure which chemical formula [(C2H3Cl)n] and build (

Performance Enhancement of P3HT: ZnO Solar Cells by Incorporating Metal Oxide Fe2O3 Nanoparticles
...Show More Authors

The ferric oxide nanoparticles (Fe2O3) which are deposited at interface which is related to hole collecting buffer layer [poly(3,4-ethyl-enedioxythiophene): poly(styrene-sulfonate) (PEDOT: PSS)] as well as regioregular poly(3-hexyl-thiophene): Zinc oxide nanoparticles (P3HT): (ZnO) active layer have been considerable increasing the performance of solar cell. Also, the solar cell devices have been fabricated with a weight ratio of 1:0.7, 1:0.8, 1:0.9 and 1:1 of P3HT and ZnO, respectively. In addition, photo physical characteristics regarding such devices with different value of the weight ratio were examined. This work is indicating that the absorption spectrum related to blend will be broad

Effect of Fe2O3 Nanoparticles Dust on the D.C Plasma Characteristics with Mirror Magnetron
...Show More Authors

In this paper, the effect of iron oxide nanoparticles dust (Fe2O3 NPs) on the parameters of DC electric discharge plasma under vacuum in argon gas was studied with the presence of a mirror magnetron behind the electrodes (cathode and anode) at constant pressure and with different amounts of Fe2O3 nanoparticles. Calculations presented a reduction of the plasma emission intensity with the NPs content. Both the plasma density (calculated by Stark's broadening method) and the mean electron temperature (calculated using Boltzmann's equation) decreased with increasing the Fe2O3 nanoparticles dust content, which indicates clearly the effect of dust density on restricting

Effect of gold nanoparticles synthesis by plasma jet scheme on normal cell lines
...Show More Authors

New evidence on nanotechnology has shown interest in the creation and assessment of nanoparticles for cancer treatment. Worldwide, a wide range of tumor-targeted approaches are being developed to reduce side effects and boost the efficacy of cancer therapy. One strategy that shows promise is the use of metallic nanoparticles to increase the radio sensitization of the cancer cells while reducing or maintaining the normal tissue complication probability during radiation therapy. In this study, atmospheric plasma was created using argon gas to create Au NPs using the plasma jet scheme, and their ability to induce apoptosis as an anticancer mechanism was tested. Aqueous gold tetrachloride salts (HAuCl4·3H2O) ere used to produce gold nanopartic

The research involves preparing gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) and studying the factors that influence the shape, sizes and distribution ratio of the prepared particles according to Turkevich method. These factors include (reaction temperature, initial heating, concentration of gold ions, concentration and quantity of added citrate, reaction time and order of reactant addition). Gold nanoparticles prepared were characterized by the following measurements: UV-Visible spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. The average size of gold nanoparticles was formed in the range (20 -35) nm. The amount of added citrate was changed and studied. In addition, the concentration of added gold ions was changed and the calibration cur
