Calculating Parameters for Se and Tin Plasmas Produced by Pulsed Nd: YAG Laser
...Show More Authors

In this study, the plasma formed by the preparation of Se and Tin (Sn) using a Nd: YAG laser with a wavelength of 1064 nm in air, which was then studied using the technique of optical emission spectrum, was presented (OES).The laser-induced plasma parameters such an electron temperature (Te) were identified using two-ratio methods, using Stark broadening methods to determine the density of electrons (ne). According to the findings, there is a correlation between the amount of laser energy that is applied and the increase in the emission intensity of the spectral lines. In the case of Se plasma, an increase in laser energy causes a rise in the temperature of the electrons. While increasing the temperature of the electrons by increasing the amount of laser energy, the temperature of the Sn plasma gradually lowers. By increasing the laser energy, the electron density of both selenium (Se) and tin (Sn) can be increased. In addition, the parameters of the plasma were discovered. Such parameters as the Debye length (λD), plasma frequency (Fp), and Debye Number (ND).

...Show More Authors

In this paper, ferric oxide nanoparticles) Fe2O3 NPs( were synthesized directly on a quartz substrate in vacuum by pulse laser deposition technique using Nd:YAG laser at different energies (171, 201,363 mJ/pulse). The slides were then heated to 700o C for 1 hour. The structural, optical, morphological, and electrical properties were studied. The optical properties indicated that the prepared thin films have an energy gap ranging from 2.28 to 2.04 eV. The XRD results showed no lattice impurities for other iron oxide phases, confirming that all particles were transformed into the α-Fe2O3 phase during the heating process. The AFM results indicated the dependence of nanoparticles size o

Laser Distance Sensors Evaluation for Geomatics Researches
...Show More Authors

In this study, an approach inspired by a standardized calibration method was used to test a laser distance meter (LDM). A laser distance sensor (LDS) was tested with respect to an LDM and then a statistical indicator explained that the former functions in a similar manner as the latter. Also, regression terms were used to estimate the additive error and scale the correction of the sensors. The specified distance was divided into several parts with percent of longest one and observed using two sensors, left and right. These sensors were evaluated by using the regression between the measured and the reference values. The results were computed using MINITAB 17 package software and excel office package. The accuracy of the results in this wo
