New mixed ligand complexes of some metal ions Zn(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II) were prepared by reacting with mixture of two bidentate ligands [ HL = (P-methyl anilino) –P– chloro phenyl acetonitrile and en = ethylene diamine] in a molar ratio of 1:1:1[ M : HL : en] in ethanol . The ligand HL was previously prepared by Strecker’s procedure which includes the reaction of p- toluidine with P- chlorobenzaldehyde in the presence of KCN in acidic medium. The structures of new compounds were identified by elemental analyses, atomic absorption and thermal analyses TG/DTG in addition to FTIR and U.V-VIS. Spectra. The electrical conductivity measurements of metal complexes were also determined. From the obtained data the octahedral structure was suggested for all prepared complexes.

Water balance approaches are strategies for resolving key theoretical and practical hydrological issues. The major goals of this study are to examine climatic elements and conditions to calculate groundwater recharge using the water balance approach. The study area is located in Mandaly city, Diyala Governorate, eastern Iraq. The metrological data was gathered between 1994 and 2020 to evaluate the study area's climate. The annual rainfall rate has been 248.61 mm, with a relative humidity of 43.89%, a temperature of 24.41 oC, a wind speed of 1.99 m/sec, sunshine of 8.32 hours per day, and evaporation of (268.09 mm). This work addressed the assignment problem (AP) based on fuzzy costs, where the objective, in this study, is to minimize the cost. A triangular, or trapezoidal, fuzzy numbers were assigned for each fuzzy cost. In addition, the assignment models were applied on linguistic variables which were initially converted to quantitative fuzzy data by using the Yager’sorankingi method. The paper results have showed that the quantitative date have a considerable effect when considered in fuzzy-mathematic models.

This study includes determining the climatic conditions and the nature of the reservoirs in the region with the determination of the flow direction of the aquifer. Black paint laser peening (bPLP) technique is currently applied for many engineering materials , especially for aluminum alloys due to high improvement in fatigue life and strength . Constant and variable bending fatigue tests have been performed at RT and stress ratio R= -1 .
