Multilevel Analysis to Recognize Original Voucher from Faked Voucher

Voucher documents have become a very important information carrier in daily lives to be used in many applications. A certain class of people could exploit the trust and indulge in forging or tampering for short or long term benefits unlawfully. This holds a serious threat to the economics and the system of a nation. The aim of this paper is to recognize original voucher document through its contents. Forgery of voucher document could have serious repercussions including financial losses, so the signature, logo and stamp that are used to determine being a genuine or not by using multilevel texture analysis. The proposed method consists of several operations. First, detection and extraction of signature, logo and stamp images from original voucher document by using auto crop method. Second, each image is processed in allotted level. Third, the voucher document is classified depending on a result of each level to determine being a genuine or not. Accuracy of 94% for identification process and 95% for verification process were achieved.

Mefenamic Acid Selective Membranes Sensor and Its Application to pharmaceutical Analysis

PVC membrane sensor for the selective determination of Mefenamic acid (MFA) was constructed. The sensor is based on ion association of MFA with Dodecaphospho molybdic acid (PMA) and Dodeca–Tungstophosphoric acid(PTA) as ion pairs. Nitro benzene (NB) and di-butyl phthalate (DBPH) were used as plasticizing agents in PVC matrix membranes. The specification of sensor based on PMA showed a linear response of a concentration range 1.0 × 10–2 –1.0 × 10–5 M, Nernstian slopes of 17.1-18.86 mV/ decade, detection limit of 7 × 10-5 -9.5 × 10 -7M, pH range 3 – 8 , with correlation coefficients lying between 0.9992 and 0.9976, respectively. Statistical Analysis of Component Deviation from Job Mix Formula in Hot Mix Asphalt

The main objective of this research is to find out the effect of deviation in the aggregate gradients of asphalt mixtures from the Job Mix Formula (JMF) on the general mixture performance. Three road layers were worked on (wearing layer, binder layer, and base layer) and statistical analysis was performed for the data of completed projects in Baghdad city, and the sieve that carried the largest number of deviations for each layer was identified.
